Hate: Tanking RFC over and over and over again. Instant queues are nice. Instant stupid is not so much. The worst are the people in full heirlooms who treat lowbie instances like 80 heroics. No, I have no rage to chain pull entire rooms. Yes, we sometimes have to wait for healers and mages to drink after every pull.
I've even run into gearscore snobs in my first time in.
I just hit level 17. Another instance would be nice.

You can't be serious.
I..don't even know what to think.
FU & ur 71 GS!!! u need 100 2 tank this n00b LOL!!!!
The best part is he probably has like, 4 heirloom pieces, so he's better geared than them.
I had someone gripe about my gear, primarily my heirloom trinket when I was in Onyxia shortly after hitting 80. It felt good to smoosh him on the meters.
No, I'm not kidding. I have crafted leather and 3 heirlooms at level 17, and people are like "Ooh! 900 gearscore. This guy must be awesome." And then they proceed to try to rush me through the instance. "Go go go go!"
The old way combo points worked was so much better; they remained even if the target was dead.
I don't recall if they had a finite duration, but killing something and then popping Slice and Dice with however many points were on it was pretty sweet for questing/trash killing, rather than "the mob is getting close to dying better use that slice and di... shit, someone crit him and he's dead, blah".
They still went away at mob death, but there was a usable lag period where you could burn a SnD if you were quick enough. But not if you had more than one thing beating on you, because the moment mob 2 hit you you'd target it and lose the CPs.
Nope. They stuck around for a pretty impressive period of time.
I used to wander a good distance from the dead mob and use the combo points to start up a new slice and dice. The primary limiting factors I found at the time were generating a combo point on another mob or getting far enough away from the original.
It was definitely more than just a lag related 'grace period', and I seem to recall an early patch note dealing with the removal of this specifically, and being a bit disappointed that it was being "fixed".
Yeah, it was a bug that was around for a couple major content patches -- where your combo points would remain active after a target died, and before you targetted a new target. I was very disappointed when they fixed it, but it never was an "intended" behavior. I think the fix was deployed as a part of 1.10, but I don't recall when it started with the bugged behavior -- a content patch or two prior, at most.

Happy: Go to ICC10 for shits and giggles. Pick up my tier10 chest with the emblems, and four pieces of enhancement gear.

This is a gearscore snob problem? I thought "snob" implied them looking down on you for having a low score, not rushing you on for having a high score.
LONG HATE/HAPPY: So I just finished up SFK on my Hunter.
Oh my god the Paladin was retarded. He ran back to "lead" me through SFK. I just had to take a second to see that the mobs I saw were simply the event boss, I wasn't lost.
Then, he continues to talk in some unintelligible mockery of the english language. "no f u i help"
Now, this seems like a noble act. Helping the lower level character get through safely, avoid mobs, etc.
I'm 2 levels higher than him.
My crocolisk has like 300 HP unbuffed more than him (500 to 800).
Okay, screw it. It's SFK, not fucking ICC25 Hard modes, as long as he holds aggro.
"Put on Righteous Fury."
Oh jesus.
Okay, so we're heading along. Tanks barely able to hold aggro but whatever, we manage to get down the Odo and Fenris. And his Hide drops! I roll need, of course.
So does the tank. Okay yeah I guess Agility is pretty good for a palad-Oh wait he's wearing a Blue cloak.
With 5 strength and 5 stamina. So it's BETTER for him. Of course he wins.
We head up the stairs, and fight the next boss. Instead of clearing the room, the tank runs after the boss. Not surprisingly we wipe. The tank starts whining that the healer needs more mana.
FINALLY, the kick goes through and the tank is dropped. We wait around, but then assume that since my Crocolisk has been holding aggro fine (the Priest asked me to turn Growl back on since the tank was shit), we clear out the room and send in my crocolisk. Shit goes smooth. Now it's Arugal's room and Arugal. The trash goes smooth...and the moment of truth.
It goes off without a hitch. 4 people, 1 croc, Arugal downed with ease.
TL;DR: Tank was so bad it was actually holding the other 4 down. Crocolisk was so good he tanked Arugal with ease.
Did Arugal use MC? One thing I remember him using it a couple years back but the few times I have killed him since the LFD tool was put in I haven't seen a Mind Control out of him.
Annoyed: Get into a normal UK on my hunter and I notice our healer is a lv80 holy paladin. Problem is: he cant keep anyone alive. Tank pulled 4 mobs, dead. Tank pulled boss and the little skeleton adds come out, dead. We go into the corridor after the first boss, tank pulls the group, dead. So I left. After waiting 18 minutes for an instance.
I won this and the Heartbreaker thing in a pug group (on seperate kills with that group). I felt bad winning two rare things that dropped so I decided (based on just the 'on use'), that I'd be more amused by/use more often the Heartbreaker. After I gave the Mask to the guy who was 2nd highest on the roll and I'd hearthed out, I looked at the screenshots of it on wowhead.... and kicked myself the rest of the evening.
It looks so damned awesome. And I doubt I will ever see it again.

Was the healer actually there and not just on auto-follow?
Happy: Won the Fumigator mask from the SFK daly boss (first non-neck item I've seen as well!)
Hate: The tanks go away when you shift in and out of form. I have to take it off and put it back on for the tanks to reappear.

what the fuck: I pick up some enhancement pieces in ICC10 the other night (I think I posted about it in here earlier). I drop resto and pick up enhancement as my offspec, equip the stuff I've got, all of it ungemmed and unenchanted--so half the gear I'm wearing is top-tier elemental gear and the other half is unaltered enhancement gear.

thing is too, I wasn't even doing well, i was just facerolling. I kept going OOM. and still I was doing 4k dps
seriously shamans and how ridiculously broken they are
Hate Hate and also Hate: Lack of 64 bit drivers for every wireless adapter I get my hands on. Forced to limit my RAM to 2gb until I can replace it again due to crazy driver silly goosery. Switching to Windows 7 was not as smooth as expected. If I use my other adapter I get dc'd the moment I try to log in on my main. Going to try it again like that without having logged out in Dalaran. I was able to use some alts in less populated zones with no trouble, so it could work.
Cool: Logged back in after maybe a week and a half off due to my prior "hates" in this thread. Ended up picking up 4pc tier 10 on my mage and numerous upgrades to my shaman (I count around 13 upgrades spread across my dps and healing sets).
Its not that DK tanking is bad. Its just there are a lot of very bad DK tanks. Just like how there are a alot of bad hunters and paladins. I was in a group with a BM hunter doing 1000 dps, barely, and noticed he was using aspect of the viper. When I recommended he swith to something else he got pissy and left.
I let my sub run out Nov 30. to focus on a new job and family stuff. I've been following WoW exploits through you PA forumers and some vid's on teh Tube, so thanks...

Boom 100. Usually when I roll first or second it's a 6 or 8 instead.
This group gets a DK who is doing under 1k DPS.
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Cenarion+Circle&cn=Ronnaick
Both his dual specs are 71 points in one tree, he's missing a ring, has a ilevel 187 weapon, mostly tank gear.
I called him out and he used the "dude its my account i play how i want" excuse.
Then the group refused to kick him the whole time, so I left right before the boss. I don't even care that they'll get a new tank slightly quicker.
