We are currently in week 13 of season 1. Right now, we advance every 48 hours, but we will be changing that to every 24 hours starting in season 2. We like to keep the league around 24-25 teams, which has been the case for most of the season, but a few people just gave up their team and we now have about 14 teams open. Several of the teams are all but out of playoff contention, but if you sign up now, you can either battle to slip into the playoffs or look to rebuild your team with a good draft pick.

This is a sim league that will be around for a while. The plan is to complete 4-5 more seasons before Madden 11. Sign up only if you can play every day.

Never heard the term "Nano Blitz" before... what exactly does that entail?

As for the leauge itself, it seems pretty decently set up, though the "game every other night" thing may cause people to burn out on the game, just as a warning.

Nano blitz is just a glitch people found to load up one lane on defense to get to the QB easily. I actually don't know how to do it, but some do.

I'm willing to be more flexible with the 2 day deadline, but these days it seems like most leagues are advancing every 24 hours. We'll see what everyone thinks once we get a few more.

I can't participate in this because I didn't buy 10 ( ), but as someone who's done a bunch of multiplayer leagues in the past (going back to the days when everyone had to play on the same console, even), let me say that rigorous scheduling is the way to go. We had one back in undergrad with a bunch of folks who lived on campus, and it seemed like the more time people were given to play their games the less inclined they were to actually ever do it.
