the picture of Ash goes face down, how can Shepard make it go up again? Is there a way to undo any flirting that takes place between you and crew?
You can't undo cheating.
She's dead to you!
Good riddance. If (s)he's that hung up on that one night two years ago maybe (s)he shouldn't berate and mistrust me for working with Cerberus right after saving the colony (s)he's been spying on and definitively proving I'm working against a collector threat.
"Our relationship died when - after 2 years - your primary thought is 'you're working for Cerbereus?!' and not 'Sheperd, I'm so glad to see you alive!' And then you send one email? I don't have a functioning keyboard to send outgoing mail, what's your excuse?"
Speaking of outgoing mail, why can't I respond to my mom?
What seals it for me is the contrast between the way Ashley reacts and the way Tali reacts, especially considering that Tali has much much much more reason to distrust and hate Cerberus.
Now, granted, if you sleep with Ashley it's a different relationship than you had with Tali in the first game (which obviously changes things) but it's obvious that Tali considered most of her crewmates on the Normandy 1 as family (especially Shepard) and so the association with an avowed enemy of the Quarian people would probably sting just as much.
Even after that, plus bringing a freaking Geth onboard she's still willing to trust your judgement and help you.
After saving Ashley's life yet again, sees you're with Cerberus and immediately labels you a traitor and goes off on you. Quite a difference in my mind.
I was iffy on the matter going in, but I had been with Liara. I rejected Miranda because it didn't quite seem right (plus she scares me a little, Cerberus utilitarian), but after meeting Liara on Illium I was pretty put off. After Tali's quest and music...seriously, there's no possible way my Sheperd could turn her down.
Also the scene with her had an odd resonance for me - it was unbelievably sweet, but also great that she's completely babbling right up until you take the mask off and then she jumps you.
Yeah im definitely conflicted about Tali. She seems more much in love with Shepard than Miranda or Kelly who just seem to want to fuck me because im basically the only dude on the ship. But I still want to get together with Ashley, but if I go with tali im sticking with Tali. At least I think I am. FUCK! I just wanna drink some draino and be comatose for 2 years!
You think that's bad, between now and ME3 I probably have to have finished my Ph D. I have to invent new SCIENCE before I can play ME3.

I think it's amusing there's a Mass Relay in the Solar System. "We had no idea there was other life in the universe or any way to travel faster than light until we found this ancient prothean tech on Mars. Also answered the question "What the hell is that big space station thing with the glowing blue power core out by Pluto"
The story goes it was encased in ice, formerly thought to be the moon Charon.
Makes as much sense as dilithium crystals, I guess.
It makes less sense when you consider in the game the Mass Relay is like a hundred times larger than pluto. But hey, abstractions and all that.
The largest ships in ME are about one kilometer long (I believe Sovereign is supposed to be 2km long). Pluto has a diameter of 2200 kilometers. Even the citadel's largest metric is 45 kilometers.
The biggest problem with Charon being a mass relay encased in ice isn't that it's too small; it's that it's relatively incredibly huge. Charon has a diameter of about 1100 kilometers. That is massive (tiny for a planetoid, maybe, but massive in relation to anything constructed). Considering there's a model mass relay on the citadel, I have no idea where you're getting the idea that mass relays are monstrous constructs bigger than pluto.
Visit the Sol System and have a look. That's where I got the idea.
Though I wasn't so much scientifically analyzing it, I just thought it was funny.

The galactic map shouldn't be used as a measure of scale. If it is to scale, the Normandy is bigger than Earth.

I said way up above that I understood it was an abstraction.
For anyone who's completed the Justicars loyalty mission (I'm not sure how heavily we're still going for spoilers here...better to err on the side of caution I assume?)
If someone can get me a high-res screencap or picture of this...
...I would be extremely grateful!
Also, did anyone elses sound cut out just before this scene?
For anyone who is about to do the Justicars loyalty mission, there's an epic scene towards the conclusion of it (pictured in the above spoiler - it's only a mild spoiler about the end of that mission though), if you could screencap me it, that would be awesome!

How many people are actually playing ME2 right now? ME1?
I'm still on my first ME2 playthrough. I'm considering ditching my second Dragon Age playthrough to do another ME1 then ME2 playthrough after this. Or maybe play some of the other games I have because fuck I want to finish some of them.
I would if my paragon or renegade scores were high enough to get to that point.
Also, I'm somewhat disappointed I missed DVG's humor, but maybe that's due to me immediately abstracting the galaxy map due to familiarity with astronomical scale.

Okay, in the squad member confrontations
Tali/Legion and Jack/Miranda, what Paragon/Renegade levels do you need to sort them out and keep their loyalty? I took a few renegade choices early on, and I don't want to lost either members loyalty.
go back to to explore the galaxy, or import to a new save.
If I choose he former can I eventually choose the latter?
Yep.
Post-endgame spoiler-ette:
I'm not sure if any quests/actions you take after you finish the final mission carry over to a NG+, though. I did select the "explore the galaxy" option and got the option to import a ME2 character.
Just finished the game. Probably one of the best ending sequences I've seen in a long while. Bioware is getting better and better at making the ending climax in their games involve your whole team and not just the couple you choose to take with you. I love that.
On a side note, Legion question:
I got kind of confused with him. Is he one geth body being controlled by a bunch of geth AI from somewhere else, or is he a bunch of geth AI stuck into one body locally? I kind of hope it's the former, because that way he could be easily brought back into ME3 no matter the outcome. That would be kind of nice considering you don't get much time with him if you're trying to save everyone in the end.

Statwise they aren't that great. The Recon visor is the least ridiculous looking of the bunch, imo.

Another Legion question:
In ME1, when you go to ?Ilos? and chat to the Reaper holograph, one of its lines is "We are Legion", does that mean that there's a reaper called Legion controlling the answer to the above question? Or that there's a reaper controlling a group of Geth that have just called themselves Legion? or whatever?

It's the latter.
Geth don't have the magic trans-galactic communication powers that the Reapers do.

EDI names Legion, after the bible quote, so no. And that reaper's name was actually Nazara. And it's dead.

They really need a recap option, I dont remember half this shit and the mini-characters even less and when it only gives you the option to say "I remember" and "what do you want", Ive got little chance of finding out.

Geth don't have the magic trans-galactic communication powers that the Reapers do.
Well, sort of.
The geth achieve consciousness by aggregating a bunch of non-aware programs. Normal geth "terminals" are just access points for the larger geth consciousness, and individually only run 100 or so actual programs.
Legion is his own platform, because he needs to operate independently far away from the geth "hubs." He works the same way as the other geth, it's just that a much larger number of programs are actually stored in his physical body, rather than having their input transmitted to it.
He does update the geth collective about what he's doing from time to time, apparently, but he's autonomous (at least insofar as any geth can be.)
The "we are legion" comment presumably refers to how many physical reaper shells there are. That's unrelated to the reason Legion the geth is called Legion (essentially because EDI thought it was an apt metaphor for his thousands of running processes.

Found out there are non-unique Dr. Pepper promotional codes floating out.
CBEEAAA41NWH Is one of them
You can only use one promotional code once per e-mail address registered on the Dr. Pepper website. By registering three times I was able to get all three visors.
Edit: Just now noticed that I was beaten via link to CAG.

I didn't notice it at first but langfor6 posted a link to CAG a few posts above mine explaining how it works.
Just beat this. Pretty spectacular, though I have a few rambling questions if anyone wants to discuss
Nobody died on the mission, and Shepherd made it. I assume that's because I did all loyalty missions and got the Normandy upgrades, but I'm curious about how you lose team members. Is it by choosing unsuitable people for the various squad choices in the end?
Human-Reaper Embryo. What the hell was that, it was like fighting a 30 story tall Terminator baby. It was a little ridiculous, but mostly I just didn't understand what it was and the game didn't do a very good job of explaining. Interesting though.

Yes.
When you start a new game, there's a "Import a Character from ME2" option.
Yep.
