So my friends and I have started throwing around ideas for a post bar exam trip. Right now the focus seems to be on Latin America... somewhere, mostly because my best friend and I took a pre-law school trip to Peru and Argentina that was probably the best of my life. We haven't even decided if we want to travel around or veg out in a single place, but I'm open to suggestions.
My main priority is and probably will be: getting the fuck out of NYC for a while.
I also kind of want to do a cross country road trip, as there is really a lot of this country I haven't seen. Of course, as I now consider myself a New Yorker, neither I nor any of my friends have access to a reliable automobile. So that's probably out.
I'm open to most suggestions really. I speak Spanish very well, but am pretty good with languages and am open to traveling most places. Asia and Africa would probably be out just because they're kind of expensive to get to.
Well I did Puerto Rico for my post bar trip and it was amazing, though it was dual purpose as I was a groomsmen in a wedding there as well. Personally though, I say Vegas. Never had as much fun in my life as I did when I went to Vegas after graduating from undergrad.
I assume that this is going to be at least a week after the exam, because my hangover/bender/decompression time after that exam lasted about a week, you might need the same.
Personally i have been wanting to go to Jordan for a while. The dead sea, Petra, lots of cool historical sites and flying to Amman isn't more expensive than to Argentina. More of a seeing the world type trip than a party trip though. Thats just me.
