Look up some gentle back stretches; don't do anything extreme because that's not going to promote healing.
Otherwise it's just time. You could try taking vitamins and eating healthy good foods but really you're just waiting on your body to heal it. In my experiences, it can take one to two weeks for a muscle to fully heal and you need to make sure you aren't straining it or it'll just take longer. So no heavy lifting for a while!
For back pain, try to do some sit-ups and crunches, or other abdominal stretches.
I think.
The reason being that your abs take strain/pressure off your back. But it will hurt like hell to exercise those muscles. (I know from experience.) But once you do it, hopefully that will start to cure the pain, and by next morning, it should be less. Hopefully.
Otherwise, go to acupuncture.
Or find someone who knows reiki.

I did that once then had a repeat about a month later
a year later and I still feel it when I lift things
Don't do what sky says for relief, and if you really pulled your back, you'll know you couldn't if you wanted to
stand up straight, and flop your head, and very gently loll it in circles, around and around, very softly without force.
once you have done that for a while, hands over your head arms straight, and very slowly bend to the side, that weird thing the swimmers do.
again, very softly, ease the muscles back into movement

Epsom salts in your bath could help with the pain, if it is muscle pain.
