    You'll find them through some encounters or cards, but yes, inviting someone to pursue a clandestine activity with will provide them. Try going to your lodgings and looking at each of the options available.

    I think one of the higher up Watchful challenges gives 13 per go, but if you're already working on Shadowy it's probably best just to stick with the tabby cats.

    All set up in my cozy little swamp house, now to build up my Dangerous and partake in a little tete-a-tete with some murderous goons.

    @Paradiso - I've been holding off buying the London Street Sign I need to get into the Forgotten Quarter (it does say something about most useful when Watchful is 60+) but that's my next step in Ambition so I might take the plunge.

    Hunting for Curios
    -Poke about among the ruins [rewards 10x Relic of Fourth City] (Luck, either way)
    -Poke about among the ruins, in an informed sort of way (Watchful 70)
    -Look for more evidence of the Correspondence in the ruins (Scholar of the Correspondence 1)
    -In your dreams, you hear a voice echoing hollowly each night(Scholar of the Correspondence 1, Unaccountably Peckish 1, Nightmares 5, seeking Mr Eaten's Name 2)

    Call in Favors
    -The dead men's chest (Connected: The Tomb-Colonies 15)
    -A curious knot (Connected: Rubbery Men 15)
    -A soothing sight (Connected: Hell 15)

    A long-lost Love (Watchful 5)
    -Help to console the gentleman (Chancy for persuasive 30)
    -Offer to help find the lady (Almost impossible for watchful 17)

    I accidentally discarded the residence I wanted, not I have the secrets for it and am just reshuffling the deck waiting for it to pop back up.

    I'm going to get shadowy to an even 20 and then go back to working on my watchful. And an FYI to people needing whispered secrets, there are at least 3 cat storylets on Shadowy and they give x6(tabby), x12(ginger), and x18(white) respectively.

    My nightmares are headed through the roof. I just can't resist all those recurring dream opportunity cards though. I'm sure they're headed somewhere fun.

    I'd be up for a meal and some furtive conversation.

    Also, has anyone had unusually poor results when it comes to Chancy challenges? I just failed 13/15 times for a Chancy Persuasive challenge and that seems a bit excessive considering it's just one step up from low-risk.

    I sent my nightmares over the top and am having a whale of a time. Mild spoilers for the curious:
    You get sent to a unique location with storylets that lower your nightmares and have a chance of also lowering stats. I'm doing my best to stay here though as there are some highly intriguing opportunity cards coming up...
