Oh god, it's not on there.

I gave that to you and don't know where I got it from.

Why the fuck did I choose to stay up all night watching Dollhouse. Now I'm freaked out because I gave Quaz something cool and don't remember where I got the cool thing from.

    I'm freaking out man!

Sir I request that you continue your evening rituals of watching television of poor quality whilst enjoying a hallucinogen of your choice so that I may continue to receive wonderful things from you. I will gladly pay the postage.

    Sincerely,

anyone know how i can use that as an avatar and have it be animated, cause i don't think it is working

It's 120x120px, so it might look pretty awful when shrunk down to 64x64px

I'm at work now so I can't play around with it to find out

I'll futz with it in your stead.

The only way I know to get different results is in choosing the resampling method, so I've included all 5 versions here.

You might be able to tweak the appearance further by messing with the gif optimization settings to get rid of the white blocks on the four bottom modes, but I didn't.

yeah, the backburner crit area is reduced because of the way flames can "Bend". If it was wider, people would be complaining about "Face crits" or somesuch.

Wherever you read that made a typo. It's actually 9 degrees. Possibly .9 .

Yea, that's been like that ever since The Orange Box was released. It was a stick in a lot of people's craw during the initial roll-out, but it being three years on, most of us have kind of forgotten about it.

Apparently, enough to not inform you before you bought it.

On the up side, love your new avatar! I can now say "Oh, that's the neal who I hate with a passion!" outside of you backstabbing me too!

    oh it informed me

but the portal 2 hype had me entranced and i wasn't willing to spend however much portal was and not get a few extra games with it, when the orange box was only a couple bucks more

This whole time I was under the impression that you only had to turn scrap metal into reclaimed metal, and that was the final form. I didn't learn about refined metal until the other day.

I guess I will continue to ignore the crafting system for a good long while.

I am having some weird problems.

The constant fire weapons are not working right for me. THe minigun keeps firing and then not firing for some reason, and the same problem with the medigun.

Melee weapons are glitchy too. Do I just need to get a new mouse or what?

goatmon, have you messed with keybinds in any way? weaponswitch binds or scripts in any form? If you have, then that's the first place i'd check, see if something got jacked around in the recent updates.

If not, then yeah, you probably need a new mouse.

that doesn't sound like a mouse problem

-autoconfig in launch options basically nukes your tf2 back to default and will probably fix whatever your issue is. if you have a lot of custom config stuff, back it up.

and t bucketman if tf2 is the only thing that's lagging, type net_graph 3 in console as you play and check if your choke is spiking

and try messing with your rates. rate 25000, cl_updaterate 66, cl_cmdrate 66 in console has always been good for me. also if you're using the multicore option you should disable it, it's fucked up and can cause jittering.

I know, right? I bought it totally on a whim without reading reviews or anything. When my old Intellimouse finally ate it, I went to the store, and it was the only high end mouse on the shelf that wasn't laser and the only optical that wasn't a $10 West Korean PS/2 mouse. I figured I didn't really want to pay 90 for scalable DPI that I would never use, so I threw 40 or 50 at that thing, and I guess it was good enough that they make a sort of heritage 519 or something to maintain the line?

I'm having some other troubles related to the left click that are nothing to do with TF2, so I think the mouse is indeed the problem.

My mouse is running through a PS/2 to USB converter or vice versa, I can't quite remember. It's just a 2 button + scroll wheel optical mouse, it stopped working and I took it apart and cleaned it out again and then plugged it in like that and now it's working so I'm hesitant to fuck with it. I've had it for ages though, the paint on the LMB is wearing off a bit and same on the right at the back.
