HELLO GUYS ARE YOU PLAYING THIS? IF NOT WHY NOT?

This has recently gone into beta on the PC version for those who can get a key (Via some sites or preordering it) and has demos on the consoles, and I do recommend giving it a try because of shit like this:

So what has improved from Bad company 1 to Bad company 2?

Well, for one it's now on the pc, and it isn't a direct console port. The game is fun as hell, and the destruction has been improved significantly and various changes have been made regarding unlocks and classes. Some weapons can be customized, every class can grab a shotgun among other weapons once you unlock them, they've added vehicle specialization so that your vehicles can take more damage or deal more damage among other things.

Did I also mention it is fun as hell? Because it is. Look at those videos up there, I don't know if they're orchestrated like that or not, because shit like that happens all the time in Battlefield: Bad company 2. So lets talk about this when we aren't playing it. Because it is awesome. Fuckers.

    I cant believe how amazing the multiplayer in this game plays and looks, you could mistake it for a single player campaign half the time. I only have it on 360, and the demo level is getting boring, I cant wait for the full release. Death animations and ragdolls are spectacular, and the sound in this game is phenomenal.

    I love how indoors the sounds echo.

    Is there sniper scope sway? The answer to this question will determine whether or not I end up buying the game.

    There are for some sniper rifles, but some sniper rifles have a scope with lesser magnification and they don't sway.

    Is there at least a way to mitigate sway for the rifles that do have it? Say, going prone, or deploying a bi-pod?

    No prone unfortunately, although I don't really miss it that much. Haven't noticed if crouching helps either, but the sway isn't that big and I have found I can work with it.

    EDIT: Also, yeah, on PC.

    Fun as hell on PC, haven't tried it on the consoles.

    I played a bunch of this last night. I maxed out the Medic line in 2 games because everybody on my team sucked at living, but after all the TF2 I've played I am awesome at making people live. Just sprint by with my defib paddles in hand, give 'em a jolt as I run away.

    They haven't really made that many games for the PC since.

    BF 2142, heroes and maybe 1943? Not sure about 1943 though.

    360 version is a hell of a lot better then the PC beta at the moment.

    They should be exactly the same at release but for right 360 feels way better and I like it a lot.

    Well the beta is a beta and the demo is a demo.

    Also I think there's rumours about an updated beta version is coming someday.

    I tried the beta way after I had been playing the demo and it was so frustrating just trying to take a dude down.

    Plus the spotting also sucks on PC cause I guess it has limited range and a cool down period.

    Spotting doesn't have a max range I think? Haven't noticed any cd on it either.

    So far the only off things that have supposedly fixed are hit detection at times and the server browser.

    You could try putting down a pre-order at a real store that deals out keys and then not pick up it/cancel it.

    I know that the standard scope doesn't have any sway to it, but there is bullet drop, so longer shots need to be aimed a bit higher.

    There's a 12x scope you can unlock too, but I don't know if it has sway or not.

    The 12x scope definitely has sway, but it's a more regular up&down breathing sway rather than MW2's all over the place sway.

    Also, as in all battlefield games, the physics can produce massive fun.

    Especially since you can catapult away jumping enemies with a well placed shot from the Carl-Gustav.

    I love that name. Best name for a rocket launcher (Technically recoilless rifle I think) ever.

    Also I do hope Dice releases mod tools for this, because Project reality 2? Hell yes!

    Especially since they could maybe add Combat Engineering vehicles with 165+ mm shells for destroying stuff.
