    hey I just finished that episode too, shoe

    I moved onto the one after it but then realized I'd seen it a billion times, and it's probably the lowest point in the first season

    EVEN THE LAW AGAINST....STEPPING ON THE GRASS?!

    i barely finished it

    he turned it off halfway through

    and my dad grew up watching TOS and just hated what they did with it

    The Undiscovered Country is the best TOS movie. First Contact is the only truly good TNG movie.

    You should watch 2-3-4, 6, First Contact and Star Trek 2009. Skip the rest. Unless you wanna know the whole continuity in which case you'll also have to bear through Generations and Nemesis, as they do include some relevant plot points despite being terrible, terrible movies.

    And yeah, I liked The Search For Spock. Christopher Lloyd as a Klingon, man.

    And you'd also have to bear through Star Trek 1, which includes way too many sequences of exterior and/or panning shots where nothing much happens aside from the soaring orchestral background music, except you're supposed to be impressed anyway.
