It's an 18 issue mega arc, really, just split into a few sub-arcs. You don't really need Deathlok Nation I suppose, but if you don't have it you'll wonder exactly what is going on afterwards. Plus it's good, so you want it anyway.
I need to get those X-Force trades, but I am beyond short on cash.
How important are the first two stories before Dark Angel Saga?
Not, CRAZY important. They more just setup the "team" dynamic and show's Warren's struggle with the Dark Angel side, but they do have threads that pay off in the Dark Angel Saga.

"Ride or Die" confirmed Dominic Toretto, as they took off to find the Dragon Balls in hopes of reviving their friend Sonic
Any idea when the Dark Angel Saga will be hiting Comixology or the Marvel Comics app? I know the second arc, the Deathlok one, only just hit last week.
Also, since I can't really avoid a good spoiler, I'm aware that Evan is
a clone of Apocalypse, born of that whole story line over in X-Force. What I'm genuinely curious about, though, is whether Fantomex really did shoot the "original" Evan. Maybe X-Force #18 made it more crystal clear, but isn't it possible that he was misdirecting the rest of the team (think that's the term he uses for that particular power), and never actually shot Evan - just put him into the World to reform him? It'd certainly put the disdain he faced from other members of the team over that original shooting in a whole different kind of light.
Not sure that whole storyline is worth spoiling this late in the game, but I figure what the hell...

Wow, that's about six months after the hardcover was released. I guess that would mean June then.
Shite... I had hoped, especially since they're now day-and-date, that that might lead to an accelerated release of earlier issues.
Kinda interested to start following the current issues, but I feel... funny... about skipping those 10 or so issues in the middle, even if only temporarily.

I would wait, Dark Angel is really good and you lose some payoff.
If you can get the Dark Angel vol. 1 hardcover, and then the rest of the issues up to 19, that's what I would do. Quickest way to get caught up and have potential spoilers be mitigated.
It's completly random the way marvel will add older stuff (ie: not day and date stuff) to comixology. If I were to guess I'd say we'll see the Dark Angel Saga come in the next couple of months.

Marvel is going to put all the A vs. X-men main issues on comiXology right? The week they get shipped I mean.
I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU!!!

Yeah, come April Marvel has said all their work outside of the MAX and kids book will be day and date. AvX is probably the catalyst to do that for the Avengers books.

Well there goes my life savings. I'm going to have to force myself to make a set list of what to buy and not buy.

The main AvX core series are all shipping with Comixology codes.
So you buy the print issues and get free codes for the digital.
I'm pretty psyched for that. Don't know if Versus or any of the tie-ins will follow up, though.

Well if Texiken was right every book sans the MAX and Kids stuff should be available by the time A vs. X-men hits.
Yeah, but the actual print issues of the main AVX come with digital copies for free.
Which is awesome.
And Marvel is probably going to do that with more books in the near future, but I'm wondering if the Versus side-book or the tie-in issues of other books like X-Men and Avengers will all suddenly have digital codes. That'd be crazy, but also awesome.

Nah, because by the time X-Force meets him, he had already become "indoctrinated", so then it becomes a quasi redemption story which doesnt fit as well with wolverine and the x-men where it is a nature vs nurture scenario

I broke down and picked up Legacy 260.1. Rachel Grey and Rogue is too good to miss.
Is that the same lady now hanging out with Ronan in FF?
Yes. They got married in war of kings, and it was very sweet. I like both of them loads and the marriage was a great choice for both of them. She's really cool, pretty much the only likeable inhuman these days.

That's cool. I like her, I just couldn't remember her name and Centipede's clues weren't helping :P
And why is he acting like a jerk? The last time I read the character was in Captain Britain and MI:13, and his characterization here seems considerably different. Did something happen to him in his Heroic Age appearances (and I'm assuming that's when the Captain Britain Corps was revived) or is this potentially reality-shenanigans from Jamie Braddock?

love
Wolverine and the X-Men
I can't say I love it
but it is fantastic
Nah, they explicitly say he was a clone.

But Rachel was pretty cool in the cosmic stuff
so I might pick that up
Though I like the cosmic ladies a lot. Crystal, Mantis and so on.

She's not as cool as Wanda or Mystique, though.
Man, Dan Slott's She-Hulk was the best.
The best.

There is probably nothing like that at all
Totally. I really need to finish getting those trades. I can't find the second volume anywhere.
