I'd make it if it wasn't for Nabucco performances. I wish San Diego would lift the ban on reading so Penny Arcade would extend the tour down to our place.

but Fiz, if San Diego allowed reading where would we get all our cheap Mexican undocumented labor?

    Mexico, probably.

You should come out, jerk, I ain't seen you in a butt's age.

You could always meet me in New York on the 21st. I'm using my day off between Nabucco opening and Pirates rehearsals starting to knock another audition out of the way. We can second-act a show

So close but so far. Don't think I'll have the ~$200 necessary to fly to Seattle round trip from Portland and all road options involve 3-4 hours each way.

I mean, there you can not only get your car stolen, but your daughter raped in under 5 mins.

That would take at least an hour here.

I have a couple questions about the tour.
    1. Will Robert Khoo also be on the tour?
    2. Will he have the time after the LA signings to make a trip down to San Diego?
    3. Buy me dinner, Robert Khoo. I want some dinner.
That third thing is not a question

So what exactly is in the 11.5? I already have volumes 1-5 of the collections and I'm not sure if I should buy the Curse of the Mummy's Gold or not.

Also you sir, take that back. Pizzeria Uno, Geno's East, and about a dozen other places will kick your ass

Also ed debevic's will call you names.

Johnnie's is better. Yeah, I went there.

Al's is second best though, and definitely unique as Italian beef goes.

I think 11.5 has more written stuff and talks about more than just the comics (PAX, child's play, etc. etc.). Even if it's just re-prints of the first five collections, i'd probably still buy it. Small price to pay for so much free entertainment.

I was redirected to this thread after I started my own gripe in another forum. I just copied and pasted it below. Deep dish pizza is great. But you should have it once... maybe twice a year. It's kind of like Paula Deen's Bacon, Doughnut, and Fried Egg burger where she says you should only have it once in a lifetime. It's very filling and definitely a must have for anyone visiting the city. But you will gain at least a pound by the end of the meal. Giordanno's is decent and so is Connie's Pizza. After living here for 7 years, I can't say I have a favorite among the various restaurants. But I do love me some stuffed spinach and mushrooms!

So, they're just going to fly right over one of the greatest cities in the midwest and pretend we don't exist? Who gave you Al Capone? The Super Bowl Shuffle? Who showed you what a single cow can do to an entire city composed of highly flammable material? Which state gave you Gov. Blago and his hair? Which city took it on the chin for this country during the 2016 Olympics selection? Which city has the only train system with stops at TWO major airports? Which state gave you the best alternative to Palin, Edwards and McCain?

Yeah... you know what? You go ahead and fly on to Baaawston and New Yawk? We'll be alright. All I know is... your comic better be hella funny tomorrow or I will consider making some serious changes on my bookmarks tab.
