get what's fashionable now, you'll get plenty of wear out of them before any significant change in people's clothing perceptions occurs

Wearing womens jeans got popular pretty quickly. Hopefully it will be unpopular just as quickly.

Eh, that was a gradual thing over the last three or four years at least. I remember the Dashboard Confessional crowd doing that nearly six years ago. That was the first time I noticed it, and am fairly oblivious and live in an area with largely conservative clothing trends, so I am sure it is older than that.

I'm an advocate for fit. Trying out what's currently fashionable is fine, but if it doesn't fit well/isn't flattering no one will care you're wearing the current trend. All they'll notice is a poor fitting piece of clothing.

As for the coat, it is interestingly different. It would only work if it fits well, everything else worn with it was simple/non-competing, and in the proper setting. If all of the above are met, then neato!

    That's my opinion anyway. :P

    I NEED YOUR OPINIONS

Ice cream-themed scarves/hats/accessories. Neapolitan hats. Mint chocolate chip scarves. Etc. Think it'll work?

Yes, I realize I will probably only sell these to the ladies. Sorry.

Wherever inspiration comes from. I could see a few flavors appealing to dudes too. Rocky Road for instance; a variety of browns with occasional white flecks.

Those ice-creamy colours are kind of pale and, uh, pissy for the winter palette I feel.
But I guess someone'll like them, and it's something original.

i think a mint chocolate chip scarf would be fantastic if you chose the colors right-but probably only if it comes out looking like a green scarf with brown or black polka dots (by which i mean that you shouldnt make the 'chocolate chips' 3d)

the whole ice cream line sounds neat actually, could be an etsy hit

speaking of scarves i really want a thick, striped scarf (think harry potter) but i am having the hardest time finding any at all

    RE: girl's jeans on guys

My brother did it in high school 10 years ago. I wore a pair of a female friend's jeans for a year or two in high school, almost twenty years ago. David Bowie was fucking around with gender identity in the 70s and I'm sure other people were too. Also, on a more basic level female fashion influences men's fashion. Do you think a guy was like, "I'm going to wear a leisure suit!" No, girls wore them and they shop for guys.

That's why I always think that guys wearing Rock and Republic or True Religion jeans are dressed by their girlfriends. They are wearing jeans designed to be purchaesd by women, for men. They are wearing girl jeans.

You could pick a soccer team and get a scarf from them, I've got a Philadelphia Union one and I love it:

Before you say it I know it's kind of ugly but it's the same colors as my grad school and has my city's name on it so pbthhhhhhhh.
Edit: There's all kinds, I know that one I have doesn't have the stripes like you want. But look:

I feel like I'm postin too much in here, but I really need all the help I can get. so here it goes:

lookin for a new hoodie, but not sure what size would be best. where should the sleeves come down to, and how far down should the back be compared to by butt? also, is there a way to sit down and not have a portion of the hoodie fold outwards? so many questions!

In general clothes should be the size of your body.
Unless you like them to be bigger, in which case you buy a bigger size.
Unless you like them really fitted, in which case you buy a slimmer fit.

I have one (in Slytherin house colors, cause I'm cool like that) and its super nice, its made kind of like a tube so its got two layers of scarf, which is nice if your looking for something with some "heft" to it.
