quick question on Screen capture

Guys, is there a tool in Windows XP that lets you take a screenshot of the current screen, similar to Print Screen, except to take only a specific portion of the screen? I know Alt+Print Screen takes the current window, but isn't there a tool or some command to let you select a portion of the screen to capture?

Thanks. I can't remember/find this damn tool and I know I've seen it/used it before...
