IPhone went for a swim

As per thread title. Currently performing the "rice" trick but I remain doubtful.

Anyone here had any experience with this? What is the optimal amount of time to leave it in rice? Or am I completely screwed?

You must leave it in the rice for a period of at least 5 days.

Do not attempt to turn the device on.

The rice will take out all the moisture and as long as too much current was not flowing through the circuits at the time the iPhone fell in the water it will be saved.

But you must do this shit correctly.
