I am looking to either sell this thing as a whole to my friend or just individually on eBay and was curious what you guys think would be a fair price to sell this thing at.
Specs:
Gigabyte S-Series GA-M59SLI-S5
with an AMD 65 X2 Dual Core 5600+ Processor
Those 3d cards can do PhysX processing in SLi, right? Someone with a nicer 3d card (or even with an 8800 or a 9500) can stick that in their mobo and use it as a dedicated PhysX card. So if you can find someone who wants to do that they might be willing to shell out cash for the 3d card alone.

I did not know this. And after checking Nvidia's website I am annoyed.
Can I use an NVIDIA GPU as a PhysX processor and a non-NVIDIA GPU for regular display graphics?
No. There are multiple technical connections between PhysX processing and graphics that require tight collaboration between the two technologies. To deliver a good experience for users, NVIDIA PhysX technology has been fully verified and enabled using only NVIDIA GPUs for graphics.
Sucks for everyone with an old Nvidia card who ditched them in favor of ATI who is dominating right now. I have a 9500GT that I guess will get tossed on the shelf as a spare instead of being put to good use.
As far as appraisals, if you have anything unique or difficult to find it might be worth something, but most other components are going to be less than half what a comparable new component would be, if it is still even available. About the only exception would be a chassis, because a really nice chassis is a really nice chassis regardless. Everything else you take a risk at buying.

Yes they can do PhysX. That's a good idea, never though of doing that. Thanks.

Thanks, I was figuring somewhere in the 150 range. It was a good one a few years ago when I built it, but the parts are pretty cheap now.
