E-mails @forums (SOLVED)

Yesterday, I changed my profile saying that I did not want to receieve e-mails notifying me of pm's or replies to threads.
Today, I had more messages, so I checked my profile again. Still set not to receive e-mails.
Waited until the forums updated and sure enough, still getting e-mails.

Is this a serious bug?
Will it only stop when the thread dies?
Will it just keep going because I didn't change my preferences when I setup the account?
Can a mod make sure I don't get anymore e-mail updates like this?

I'd like to request that once you change your settings to not receive e-mails that it takes place immediately.

It's been made abundantly clear that Ten O'Clock is time for Rainbow Six. It is not time for other games! You might think that it is, but it isn't. Don't show up at 10:05! That's not when it is. It is earlier.

    I believe that the global notify setting just flips that "notify me when a reply is posted" tag at the bottom of the reply window.. and you have to go into your profile and turn those off after the fact.

    So yo won't get any on new ones, but you will on older ones.

    it has nothing to do with profile settings

    Stop clicking that link

    Thanks for the tip. The global settings wouldn't change the threads I had already posted too. I had to go back and click on "stop watching this thread". It would be nice if the global settings would affect these old threads, though.

    Those emails sent out have a link at the bottom to unwatch the topic in question, just click it and quit being lazy.
