I used Paypal the other day, and after I had finished the transaction, I immediately realized I had sent it to the wrong account. Cancelled it right away, then sent the money to the right account.
Today it shows my bank account being deducted for both transactions. The transactions aren't pending either, they went through. Is this normal? How does Paypal handle these situations?
Was the money kept in your Paypal account after the transaction was cancelled? If I remember correctly, it's always a big hassle to get Paypal to put money back into your bank account. They prefer to just keep it in your Paypal account.
No, I rarely keep money in Paypal since I hardly use it. It just withdraws from my bank account. I was expecting them not to withdraw the first transaction, or withdraw and then credit me.
