I think the only reason its free is because we probably own the company who makes it's 401k. Cuz I mean the soda machine is almost 2$ which is absurd. Glad I don't drink soda anymore.
Cheesecake Factory has Fresca as well. When I first found this out I was pretty excited. It's probably my favourite soda. Then I love birch beer, which I was able to get at restaurants in North Jersey a lot but not up here.
tonight for dinner I had the forementioned grilled egg cheese sandwich with onions and swiss, carrots and a beer!
and maybe some chocolate covered pretzels
I wish I could enjoy beer.
I really can't; I've tried. It seems to be that it is exceptionally bitter, although other overly bitter things do not necessarily bother me.
There's so many different beers though! Have you tried Blue Moon?
It frustrates me when people go "I've tried beer, didn't like it." Same as saying "I've tried cheese, didn't like it." There is absolutely something for everyone.
have you tried many beers? Things like IPAs are super bitter, which I don't really like, but stouts and lagers are good!
I've tried maybe 10 kinds total, not counting 4-5 of the "cheap" options, which were terrible.
I'm not sure if I tried any stouts or lagers, I suppose I should try those then and see.
The only one I halfway enjoyed was one from Louisiana made with raspberries, I believe.
As far as non-stouts or lagers, I have tried virtually every suggestion and not really liked them.
Maybe its the hops I dislike and not the actual bitterness.
The most frustrating thing about beer is that all of my friends love trying out these microbrews and all these interesting beers, but they're all super hoppy which I don't enjoy at all.
Well neville, if you're on the east coast we can go on a beer adventure and I'll just drink whatever you don't like. Or Fari can drink it.

I've tried to like beer unsuccessfully as well. I can't name all the types I've tried, as I didn't get much past a few sips, but it ranged from guinness to various beers from a local brewery, and the required Alexander Keith's considering where I live.
I just don't like it. I don't like really dry wines for the most part either.

Me either.
Hard alcohol I can do, although I just don't drink much anymore.
Vodka's usually my poison of choice, although a good rum is fine as well.
Wine-wise I don't like dry ones, but a nice sweet something is great. Dessert wines oh mannnnnn.
World as Myth and I are gonna have a party and tasting party with a bunch of dessert wines one of these days.

Meh, oh well. Less calories this way, I suppose.
That reminds me of our Easter meal. It was nice out so we grilled.
Steak, burgers, new potatoes, some fresh snow peas/carrots/cucumber/celery/green onions, rolls. I haven't left a family meal that full in forever.

I won't be able to make it to prime this year, hoping to go next year though.

For someone whose beer experience is limited, but really disliked blue moon, what would your next suggestion be?
Also what's a decent gift beer for a simple irish dude? I have a badass manager at work that I want to give a group birthday present to.
haven't lived till the age old sit on a porch smoke a joint and wash it down with steel reserve routine
