I've go the same thing with the FAL. It just makes me feel like a badass with it's semi-auto goodness...but there are times where I just can't seem to win with it. What perks are you using?
Oh, and the ACR should be EVERYONE's comfort zone.
With the FAL I use Sleight of Hand pro, Stopping Power pro, and Ninja pro with the AA-12 as my secondary. Sometimes I'll switch to bling and slap the silencer on.
The first time I unlocked it I was pretty unimpressed. Then I didn't use it on the next prestige. But the next one, I went for mastery on it and never wanted to give it up. So good. I've never gotten as many EADs in that short amount of time. My K/D skyrocketed.
Ok I think demolition might be my new favorite game mode. I just played it for about 2 hours and won most of the matches and did hella good with my FAL. My best round was 47 - 12. Plus I love how I was earning like 10k exp each match.

Super late seeing the new maps/hearing about them, but
FUCK YEAH CRASH/OVERGROWN. The rain level is going to piss me off because, once again, lolthermals. Underpass sucks because of rain, and so will Storm.

Fuck Demolition. Ive been getting better at this game and I can usually maintain a positive K:D ratio in TDM or Domination, but as soon as I get in a demolition game I start going 1:3 or worse. One game I was in a week ago or so I went 1:8. Fuck Demolition hard.
Also, I would like to see a king of the hill gametype added. 1 flag on the map that rotates randomly once a minute, cant spawn in the same spot twice, and you get 5 points for every 3 sec you have a least one guy on the hill. After 1 minute, the hill moves and it begins again. Normal respawn rules. Score limit of 750 for 12 player matches and 1000 for 18 player matches, first team to that wins.

Ok, so MW2 is on sale at Gamestop for a while for 50 bucks. I owned it once before on XB360 and I traded it in. But I've had a hankering to revisit the game, and I was thinking that this time I would play it on the PS3. But before I make the final decision, I have a few questions.
1) Is it possible to complete the Spec-Ops missions solo, or do you absolutely need a partner? The reason I ask is that none of my real life friends play MW2 so I would be at the mercy of strangers to get these done. (I'm thinking Platinum Trophy here).
2) How are the game servers on the PS3? Is the game laggy? Is there still an active community? Is it easy to find games or will I be sitting in a lobby for 30+ minutes waiting for a game?
3) How are the new maps? Is it worth the investment?

I stopped hating tubers when I started using the tube. It's really a helpful tool if you're using it "correctly." I know, there's no "correctly" in a game, but you get the idea.
Moogle, I have never waited more than a minute and a half for a full match of ground war on the PS3 -- most of the time it's under 30 seconds. This game is big enough that the install bases of the two consoles doesn't really make much difference.

Killstreaks already wreck shit up on that level as it is, you're pretty much stuck in the buildings or under cover when the big boys come out to play.
So that's not something I'm concerned with.
Trying to win is what my problem is I guess. Maybe I should camp like everyone else and forget about the bomb sites.
