Carlton Lassiter is a ten-year veteran of the Santa Barbara Police Department, and the youngest Head Detective ever named to the force. He is gruff, serious, and trigger-happy. He generally distrusts Shawn and does not believe that he is psychic as he claims to be, but has come to have a grudging respect for his investigational skill.

The theme song is performed by the series creator Steve Franks's band, The Friendly Indians, named after the friendly indians of Disneyland, where Franks worked while. They have a track that is the words from the Haunted Mansion ride, and is pretty cool. :^:

Also also, the crew (cameramen mostly) have a band called Psych and they play in between takes.
It's going to be 1 of 3 people. It could be Buzz, it could be Abigail, or it could be the Chief. My bet is on the Chief because they said it would be a significant death and while Buzz is pretty cool, I don't think it will be that significant. Abigail dying would throw Shawn into a black stupor and ruin the comedy of the show. I think it has to be the Chief and maybe Henry will step in to take her place which makes no sense in the real world but it does in Psych. That would suck though because she just had a baby.
Roday directed and wrote this episode. You can really tell. He likes to make things as dark as possible.
In Scary Sherry, his original script had her actually falling out of the window and getting impaled on the statue.
Also in that episode he had a joke that they removed. When Bianca was in the tub and Alice comes in the window and throws the toaster in Shawn originally says "Well, Bianca's toast..."

This episode was great. I can't wait for the summer.
I'm so glad I was wrong on my death thoughts. Mary dying sucks but not that much.
However, that looked like Young Shawn with Mr. Yang at the end so I have no fucking clue what's going on.

Anyway, great episode.
Who didn't see the break up with Abigail coming though? At least she initiated the break up though, so we didn't have to deal with any awkward moments between her and Shawn.

I'd assume so. They were definitely hinting at a Jules/Shawn love connection last season, and considering that Juliet was the one Shawn chose to save, I don't think it's that strange a conclusion.

They did a lot better job with Yang's season finale than Yin's. This one lacked the uncomfortable humour sprinkled into a desperate situation.

Anytime Psyche tries to do anything other than be a fantastic goofy-funny-murder-psychic show and tries to get all serious, heavy and/or emotional.
It gets pretty bad.
