    Yeah, they did a little "what we've learned so far about Twisted Treeline" and I can't find it at the moment, but essentially they're having trouble balancing out things. For awhile, essentially things boiled down to who won a level 1 fight at the lizard. So, they then tried delaying the lizard spawn (like they did in the normal map) and that helped some, but they say that high hp champs still have too much advantage at level 1 (essentially because towers are so far apart that tower hugging is a huge disadvantage early on) and that since the map is so small the early game advantage is magnified significantly.

    Morgana's snare range is basically 100 units more than I ever want it to be every single time it hits me. Played against a solid one earlier that just made a joke of retreats or feints by rooting whoever was most likely to die every damn time.

    Worst was when she hit me while moving out of line of my blitz grab from near middle second tower to the ghoul camp nearby. I got eaten alive by shaco while she someone walked free despite us both firing off at the same time.

    Morgana can eat a turd sandwich.

    So uh, finished a game as singed with like 4k hp because it went on for so long. Too bad none of it mattered against Sivir and Ashe with 4k hp Kayle as support. Both Sivir and Ashe had near 400 attack. I was chewed up in a second.

    I hate bad teams. :(

    Our Yi never pushed with us too, and by the time it came to fight a group or catch the last two low hp healers he was clearing creep on the top or bottom and left us all to die.

    Yeah, we had and Ashe pull a similar stunt earlier. Dude would constantly decry the need for us to stick together and win fights and then whenever 3+ of us would gather he'd start shouting about how it was an OBVIOUS TRAP YOU DUMB FUCKS and run to another lane.

    Needless to say having our most hard-hitting toon constantly abscond from fights until he decided it was time to valiantly swoop in, 1v3, and die miserably hurt our chances to pull ahead.

    Mordekaiser, the Master of Metal

    * Mace of Spade: On next hit, Mordekaiser swings his mace with such force that it echoes out, striking up to three nearby targets, dealing his attack damage plus bonus damage. If the target is alone, the bonus damage is doubled.
    * Creeping Death: Morderkaiser unleashes a protective cloud of metal shards to surround an ally, increasing their armor and magic resistance, and dealing damage per second to enemies in the cloud.
    * Siphon of Destruction: Mordekaiser deals damage to enemies in a cone in front of him. For each unit hit, Mordekaiser’s shield absorbs energy.
    * Children of the Grave: Mordekaiser curses an enemy, stealing a percent of their life each second. If the target dies while under the effect of the curse, their soul is enslaved and will follow Mordekaiser for 30 seconds.     * Champion kill experience system reworked. Experience rewards are now calculated on a per-champion basis, with the rewards scaling based on the delta of champion levels. The scaling is based on an S curve so that killing champions three levels and below provide negligible rewards, and kills three levels and above provide almost twice the experience of even level kills.
    * Pets should now properly respond to stop orders issued while selected.
    * In game chat should no longer accept HTML tags, which were causing chat to exhibit strange behavior
    * Fixed several Game Server issues that were occasionally causing crashes
    * Fixed a bug where camera lock would sometime turn on while dead
    * Fixed several issues with the Animation System, which should improve the visual quality of many abilities
    * Fixed a bug that would show your champion under the “Assist” section in Death Recap in some cases
    * Changed Death Recap to not report tower damage as champion damage (this will not affect Kill / Assist crediting)

    Queue dodging stuff seems a bit harsh, I bet that'll change fast. I do like the sound of the champion kill exp stuff, though I fear it will be a slight nerf to the solo player in a 1v2. Could be wrong though since I can't really make any judgments until I see for myself.

    Honestly the only thing in the patch notes I care about this time around are Mordekaiser and Leaverbuster.

    Everything else is meh. Jax is pimp but I'm not excited for reasons unknown.

    I don't find it unreasonable, considering it is something you shouldn't be doing, except in exceptional circumstances.
    Is jax' empower remake as useless as the notes make it seem? The passive and leap strike changes both sound awesome but empower seems even more useless than it was

    Sounds great for farming, depending on the AOE radius.

    They really should have just removed TF until the remake, after this patch I think he'll be nerfed to the point he's useless in low-mid tier matches yet still completely dominate in high tier.

    also i guess i can see empower being good for ap jax/lichane..but ap jax just seems so fundamentally wrong

    Jax's abilities all scale very well with AP actually, it's quite nice.

    And heck, he's one of the few characters that a rageblade isn't a joke on (though that number has increased with the recent buff, I've found it to be quite useful for Nidalee at times because she can keep the charges up indefinitely for free).

    Eh. As I see it, 10 minutes is less than 1/2 of the minimum surrender time (which should probably be a bit lower), so if someone thinks that having an Eve will result in a soul crushing game worse than watching their childhood pet die or whatever, they still come out ahead.

    But it also encourages people not to waste 9 other players' time. A given queue dodger could end up wasting like 12 minutes of other people's time per dodge. Fuck that.

    So I always solo-que in this game.

    Just had a pretty . . . interesting (awful) game. I knew it would be bad when we were against Twitch and Eve (I know they're easy to counter, but in solo-que games . . . )

    My item development is so awful because I bought literally 6 Oracle's. I mean, I'm Ashe, tied for squishiest champion in the game, I shouldn't be carrying the Oracle's, but our team was pretty bad.

    I mean, DPS Annie . . . yeah.

    As someone who occasionally plays Soraka, this makes me obscenely happy. Flash got nerfed yet again, which is meh. Mordekaiser looks like a lot of fun, I'll toss him a try when I get on next.

    I've just started losing after a 5 game winning streak. I've started playing Alistar lately, been having a lot of fun with him. Popping ult, running in, and shrugging off the entire team's rotations is hilarious, especially when it allows my team to pick them off easily.

    Well I found an interesting (annoying) bug. If you use the US client to login to the EU servers you won't be able to login to the EU servers while the US ones are down for maintenance. So I've had to download the EU client, which should have taken 5minutes but I kept having to start and stop the download as it would keep dropping to 0kbs.

    General

    * The in-game experience curve was normalized.
    * Champion kill experience system reworked. Experience rewards are now calculated on a per-champion basis, with the rewards scaling based on the delta of champion levels. The scaling is based on an S curve so that killing champions three levels and below provide negligible rewards, and kills three levels and above provide almost twice the experience of even level kills.
    * Pets should now properly respond to stop orders issued while selected.
    * In game chat should no longer accept HTML tags, which were causing chat to exhibit strange behavior
    * Fixed several Game Server issues that were occasionally causing crashes
    * Fixed a bug where camera lock would sometime turn on while dead
    * Fixed several issues with the Animation System, which should improve the visual quality of many abilities
    * Fixed a bug that would show your champion under the “Assist” section in Death Recap in some cases
    * Changed Death Recap to not report tower damage as champion damage (this will not affect Kill / Assist crediting)
    * Fixed several bugs with Death Recap that were causing Udyr’s stances to not report damage correctly
    * Pressing the “Esc” key should unselect a controlled pet
    * Buff stacks should show the stack count in the HUD now without having to mouse over them
    * Karthus's (Lich) passive icon was changed to be more reflective of the ability
    * Fixed a bug that was causing /surrender fail for some users in some circumstances

    Queue dodging stuff seems a bit harsh, I bet that'll change fast. I do like the sound of the champion kill exp stuff, though I fear it will be a slight nerf to the solo player in a 1v2. Could be wrong though since I can't really make any judgments until I see for myself.

    I see no mention of the ignore list being used to prevent match-ups with ignored users. So I'll say it again: I called it.

    Yeah, implementing the queue dodging penalties with no way to avoid problem players seems like a bad idea.

    Probably going to see more people trying to force dodges with stuff like Clarity Mundo.

    So I bought Mord today, he seems pretty slick. Playing a few practice games it looks like his damage shield early game really isn;t much to look at, but late game when I'm popping my abilities all over the place, it really goes off the charts to keep me alive.

    Anybody else give him a shot yet? I'm not very good and I'd like to hear what you guys think about how to build him. I'm tempted to pump his AP, but with so many AP items boosting mana, I'd feel like it was a waste to buy them...

    i should make some time to play this game again.

    is the leaving at champ select still happening a lot? i'm sure they haven't fixed the client bugs that cause the inadvertent leaves.
