I've come to the conclusion that the Kingdra I worked kinda hard on must have abysmal IVs. It's modest, I EV trained it for maximum special attk and spc. defense, leftovers in speed, and it sucks. It can't hurt a flygon.
So ... I guess later on I'll retry it, but not now.
On the other hand, this Vulpix is shaping up nicely. Basic sweeper (I might make a disrupting Ninetails later), Nasty Plot - Energy Ball - Extrasensory - Fire <something>. Took a goddamn long time to breed on those moves.

What in the world kind of EVs did you give that Kingdra? half an ice beam should destroy a Flygon.
I need to start breeding the team I'll be running with through HG. Growlithe was going to be a no-brainer, but since it gets Morning Sun as an egg move in HGSS I'll have to consider whether it's worth shipping all my breeding materials over there and making it in that game, or just forget about it. It wouldn't be such a big deal but having a healing move is really handy in a playthrough, and it would let me use Flare Blitz more frequently.
Others to be included on my team so far are Beldum and Ralts (Gallade). I'll still need a good Water-type and an Ice-type, maybe Mamoswine or Weavile. Anyone got some great suggestions?

That maid will challenge you to beat a bunch of clefairy's in a set amount of moves (5 in 6 turns or something like that) if you do it then she will fight you with a Blissey that's holding a Rare Candy.

I don't know which starter Pokemon I'll choose for HG/SS. I hate them all equally. The 2nd Gen starters just don't do it for me.

Isn't playing the slots the only way to get the TM for Explosion? I traded for my Explosion TM. It's too much of a pain to play those slots.

My DS Lite doesn't like my wireless network and for whatever reason has decided that it should not connect even though everything is in order, ports are open for the DS, etc. Not a big deal, I have a WiFi connector.
What is a big deal is that the DS won't connect to the connector at all. I never had this problem with my Phat, but the Lite basically picks up the connector when it's testing the connection, connects, goes green, stays green, and then inexplicably turns red and I get the message that the connection failed. The error is 52203, but Nintendo hasn't provided any help. Anyone have any ideas?
I'm thinking I just turn the connector into a wifi hub rather than a NWFC connector and see if I can get on that way.

I have a legit copy of Fire Red and transfered over:
Mewtwo, the three birds, butterfree, and exeggutor.
I tried it three times and it didn't work and I deposited all of my pokemon except for one and it worked.
