Ah, the smile that hasn't left my face since I read "engaged" and the mountain of responses to it. It's always nice to see love and all that other corny stuff come to full tilt. Congratulations to you Helloween, i'm sure you'll make her as happy as you make us happy with your LPs.
Also @ Garris; Alot of us have pretty much guessed who the lucky lady is, seeing as Helloween ain't very subtle. She too is an excellent LPer herself and I look forward to more collaborative efforts involving her and Helloween. I'll just let you figure it out. :P

As far as this game goes, I was all prepared to be like "It's just like Penumbra. Scary for 30 minutes then boring the rest?" Then I got to set 6 and I probably would have reacted the same way. The way that thing moved and the sounds it made were definitely high in the creepiness factor. I hope there's more stuff like that on the way (Still need to watch part 9).

Yeah that was just bullshit. Silly room with a silly goal.
This is one of my favorite games ever. I'll never forget the moment in one of the dream sequences where you track down a guy gone crazy shooting everyone, and the last moment is when you find him alone in a cell-area with his hands up, looking at you with crazy eyes. He looked just like one of the regular shooter guys you encounter in the game, but that was the closest I'd ever seen one of them, and the way in which I did was especially powerful. It added an element of humanity to the typical disposable bad guys.

I think the POV Keyhole shot was actually clipping into the ninjas head. Like, back of the eyes in the camera. I can't think that was intended.
It's intended. The ninja's claws are actually a set of keys if you look close enough. Sorta like the Suffering, monsters appear to be themed; you saw crewmen and guys doing repairs earlier on, guards and engineers (or at least that one boss dude) in the reactor area, now you have key-ninjas, flathead inmates, and guys with prison cells for heads running around the brig.
As for the globe thing, hell if I know. Best guess is
it's a very, very vague suggestion that what's going on is some force that's as old as the world itself. Take the Roadside Picnic explanation of some alien event that we have no hope of understanding striking earth, now make it an elemental force of nature - the Cold - that preserves tragedy until a passing time-traveling beard man with brittle legs shows up to save the aaauuuugghglglrlrlr just hurt myself trying to work out Silent Hill-ish mechanics.
