Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong on these forums?
I made a few posts and threads in D&D and everyone got angry at me for no reason at all.
And then I made a thread in Social Entrophy and I don't even know what I did wrong but the people there are angry or totally gay. EVERYONE there was making fun of me but one or two people who are pretty cool but none of them will own up or even say *why* they hate me aside from the fact that they hate my religion. Right now the thread is like 30 pages long and I want to lock it but even the mods won't do their job and stop it. I was literally crying last night after some of the stuff that was said to me but I don't think those people give a damn about anything, least of all about my feelings.
I came to Penny Arcade because I wanted to chat with people about things like the comic. I like video games and cars and movies and I thought liking that stuff would be cool here too. I'm a pretty smart guy so D&D seemed like a better idea than Social Entrophy but honestly I don't understand why everyone here is so mean. There should be a board here like the off-topic boards where everyone just talks about what they like and everyone gets along.
Anyway, is there anything anyone can do here to help me?

thats fine, but dont you think that you should research first? make your own decisions. Alot of older people blindly vote for a party based on facts from 20-30 years ago (Ie. Reagans party, so it must be good) both party's have good people and bad people.
On the one hand my pastor says that the earth is a lot younger than a lot of people believe it is now.
But I think it's kind of strange that the earth is somehow younger than the dinosaurs.
Really though no one was alive back then so there's no way to know for sure.

Like some people believe the earth is less than 5000 years old because that's how it's "counted out" by the generations from the bible.
But then we know that dinosaurs are millions if not billions of years old.
So it doesn't make sense that those bones from the dinosaurs could be there before God made the Earth, right?
And even then there weren't any humans alive back at that time, and no books or written words. Everyone was still a caveman so there aren't any records to say for sure how it all happened.
However I *DO* think there is a Garden of Eden, but it's probably hidden in a place where humans can't get to.

First of all, do not discuss religion.
There is a very good reason why D&D tightly restricts threads on religion - it is a sensitive subject, most people already have their established positions and these discussions go nowhere. Now, the thread you recently posted in was not a religion thread, but you came in with some very heavy-handed religious arguments and more or less tried to make it one.
You don't want people to attack your beliefs, and that is understandable, but keep in mind the fact that bringing up religion can also be seen as attacking the beliefs of others. It's a two-way street.
Then by all means do that. Stick to these things, take some time to get used to the board and the people here before bringing up personal or controversial issues.
yeah... I'm supposed to be spreading the faith along with other members of my church's youth group, but honestly even though they say to try and get people on AIM and the internet to talk about god it seems to cause more harm than good.
