So, I got the new AvP game. When I first got it, I was on a 32-bit WindowsXP, and when I played, it was super jumpy and really hard to do anything. I figure: "Well, my RAM is capped because of the 32-bitness, so I can just upgrade."
So, I got a $15 copy of 64-bit Windows7 from my university. Installed it fine and all. So I try to play AvP and now, I go 'New Game', blah blah blah, 'shows me the intro movie without a problem', 'loading screen' than....FREEZE. It freezes at the loading screen. I don't even get to see if its jumpy or not.
Any ideas?
I've just determined that my processor might be too weak for the game to run. But...why would the game run with Windows XP and not Windows7?
