I am so disappointed in you, Blizzard. I am going to force my way into getting a job there just so I can scream at the people responsible for the beta wave criteria.
I looked all over up and down those cases, cds, and manuals but to no avail.

Are Hydralisks actually that good against Terran infantry, or did Mind just have a total breakdown of focus firing? It looked like shots were hitting everything.
That was a pretty good game. I was surprised the Zerg player managed to rally back against the destruction of the natural expansion and the Terran player having a second expansion that long.
Man screw you guys. What is this shit, really. I go and watch that replay all pumped that a zerg actually defeated a terran in a competitive match.

Either rush to immortals as Protoss or I believe spam Marauders as Terrans and you will mop up roaches like they are a joke.
I kept getting zerg/terran opponents, getting hit with a mass of marines and roaches, early, its hard to beat off. Im creating a choke, tried single gateway at 8, spam zealots, tech to immortals, but they were at my door before the robo bay was warped in. tried dual gateways, forge, Photon cannons, but that left me with too few units, tried zealots to stalkers, but can only get out a couple stalkers before they are there....they do so much damage, by the time my partner gets over to help, thye have wiped out my defenses and are killing my probes. I did get one terran/terran matchup, rushed with marines, retarded, they both went reactor rax and showed up with like 10 marines each, i had 3 or 4 zealots, i forget.
edit: i misspoke, the pylon is at 8.

I'm going to buy the game in two months, and I'm playing Mass Effect 2 right now anyway, and I still have a couple more playthroughs of that, then I have to finally finish Halo 2 at some point, and probably Halo 3 which is still sitting unopened on my shelf. I still have Age of Empires 3 to even run the game, its installed and not being played, I have Red Alert 3 having done one mission in it.

My build order generally goes 9 pylon, 10 gateway, gas when gateway is going up, 16 probes (chrono boosting to get these out) second gas sometime during this period, cybernetics the second the gateway is up, robotics the second the cybernetic is up, chrono boost an immortal. Up to that point I'm also chrono boosting out more probes and the occasional stalker as gas permits.
It's worked so far for me but I haven't really ran into much decent competition yet.

Dude, the Zerg lost that first game then proceeded to win the next two in a best of 3 series. That was the finals match. He won the entire tournament.
I'm guessing you're having trouble winning games as Zerg, but by all reports Zerg is not underpowered right now.
e: Turns out it was a best of 5 actually, but it was a double elimination tournament and the Zerg player was coming out of the winners bracket so he gets the +1 win advantage in the finals bo5. The Zerg player dropped a single game in the entire tournament, and that loss was in the finals.

I have a Anthlon II X3 425 (2.7Ghz), 4 gigs RAM, ATI 4670. Nothing too great.
My brother is on a C2Quad Q6600 (2.4Ghz), 4 gigs (but still on XP 32 bit), 8800GTS.
So make of that what you will.
