I'll more than likely keep herbalism/alchemy on my lock, considering that I never took up tailoring pre-BC or after, or wanted to even speed level it. I like my flask making & my proccer which is broken very much, uh, I think. Unless alchemy gets screwed again (no shiny recipes). And the five months in between discoveries. I hated it when they nerfed the proc rate. I'm lucky to get anything past x2 unless I make a shitload of elixirs.
Same goes for the druid & her jewelcrafter/mining ways. My third alt, however, now that's open to profession switching, I have LW/skinning on her now, if inscription is the way to go, I may drop LW, since it's my "i'm not gearing this one up for anything important" alt. It'd be nice to have a little profession factory of alts.

I'll be keeping Engineering. I've had it since level 10 and there is a small chance that we'll see something like [Airwolf Upgrade Pack] for our flying mounts. Not that I cue up the theme to that show when I mount up or anything like that.

Oh god I do. I'm a sick, sick man. Someone stop me. Or failing that give me some guns.....
I think I'm still just bitter that PMooncloth had no freakin' base stats on it, but the healing/regen was on par with T5 so it took forever to replace it. You didn't really *need* stam so much in T4/5 content as most of the damage is totally avoidable, but it was a nice change when you did get enough that a loose mob sneezing on you wasn't instant death.
That was the best part, seeing the mob look at a priest and then seeing improved death proc.
Night Elf priests; half of their best abilities are only usable while dead!
Edit: Forar's been a Leatherworker since he was able to pick it up, and I have no intention of ever changing that. No, it's not all that good a profession, but like having a rogue as a main, I stick with it out of stubborness more than anything else.

First they came for the Muslims, and we said NOT TODAY, MOTHERFUCKER!
Man, everyone should be stocking up on items to power level professions now. I could see those items making a ton of money when a million voices cry out in joy and then quiet, replaced by mat-hungry lvl 55 death knights.
The show had a musical score (orchestral-based in the first and early second season episodes; synthesizer-based thereafter) composed and performed by Sylvester Levay.
That would explain the difference.

You missed a post Biggity made about the Chips theme being stuck in his head. Although I'm sure if I looked super hard I could find some Stringfellow Hawke/Dominic Santini/Michael 'Archangel' Coldsmith Briggs III slashfic.
Yeah, never got into that show, I think it was on the cusp of 'before my time' and didn't end up on any of the re-runs channels / timeslots I came to know and love. Cheers, MASH, Get Smart, the old Batman, came to love them all, at least at the time.
Though even in hindsight, I think some shows (like MASH and Cheers) are either effectively timeless, or age really, really well.
I still choke up a little when Radar accounces ______ dying in a plane crash.

Mash still seems to hold up really well where as I think Cheers hasn't as well. Airwolf is up on Hulu.com and it doesn't hold up nearly as well. But they sure picked a pretty cast.

I used to have a friend who was obsessed with MASH even to the slashfic-writing point. I never understood this until she made me watch a few episodes. When I was a kid, I'd change channels as soon as the credits came on, no interest in some boring war show that wasn't a cartoon! But watching it as an adult, it turns out it was a comedy! Who knew.
Annnnnnyway. Mm. Stockpiling current mats will probably be a good idea too. I pretty much paid for my epic flyer a week or two after hitting 70 by selling adamantite to suckers leveling blacksmithing.

Yeah, I suspect that much of my cynicism from an early age stems from watching that show as a youth.
RE: "Wish we knew something about Inscription other than that it (apparently) requires Herbalism.". Okay, *technically* that's not 100% official. A single Inscription was datamined out of one of the alpha builds and it required Peacebloom. It does point in that direction.
Also, we've been told a few other things. The inscriptions (I forget what they're called) will be solid objects that can be sold on the AH. They go onto a new tab on the spellbook, every player will be able to have up to 4 major items and 2 minor ones. Most of the stuff that would affect combat (increased damage, reduced casting time, range, etc) are going to be major items. The only thing they've given as an example of a minor item would be to remove the reagent cost for a spell.

So long as thats all it is and nothing too ridiculous. Could you imagine a mace specced warrior with stunherald and stun proc on mortal strike? Fun Fun.

Is it terrible that the first thing that came to my mind when reading that was, "Hell yeah, I can carry like 4 more non-combat pets!"

Stupid candles.
Yeah, personally I wouldn't call that a minor change myself. I wonder which reagent I'd most want rid of? Light Feathers, personal teleport, group teleport, or the dust? Because the way I'm reading it, you've only got 2 minor slots and each inscription probably only affects one spell...
When it comes to tanks, I can understand. Maybe even healers, maybe. DPS... guys, just make a bag "the gear bag" and keep your pvp and resist gear in there permanently. Just... just please, do. :-(
(although I suppose warlocks and hunters should get a little nod at this. Why Blizzard doesn't just give each class an extra bag slot and be done with it, I'll never know. It just makes their lives more difficult without enriching anything.

Currently, just Muckbreath and Crashin' Thrashin' Robot. (We have tiny robot wars during P1 of Illidan and any other misc downtime) I have an 18 slot bag full of non-combat pets in the bank though.
In the bank: Wolpertinger, Snake & Cockroach (gifts from Horde friends), Captured Flame, Elekk, White Kitten, Mojo, Jubling, Yellow Moth (he matched my outfit), Sprite Darter, Parrot my friend got me before he went to Iraq, Miniwing, Reindeer, Turtle, Chicken, Rocket Bot, Spider & Wolf from the quests, um... I have a problem >.<
Edit: A gear bag would be amazing, even as a Priest I have many, many sets of gear (Healing PvP, DPS PvP, Regen healing, Haste healing, Stamina healing, Shadow DPS, Generic DPS, SR, Misc situational trinkets... Some of it overlaps) that I have to swap in and out of the bank. If the game was more realistic I'd have to have a pack mule following me...
I think I currently have netherwhelp, Muckbreath, phoenix hatchling, wolpertinger, and a kitty in my bags. >.> My paladin has a kitty, Toothy, and Tiny Walking Bomb. WTB a keyring type bag for pets.
Cooking is one of the easiest skills in the game to increase. Yeah, there were a few gaps that were hard to clear if you didn't want to level fishing or buy fish off the AH, but those have been miminized. Once you hit Outland cooking benefits every class, and can easily be leveled while you're adventuring.

hah, it's funny because it's a severed ear.

help me
No problem...you play the stranded motorist this time and I get to be Jon. :winky::winky:
Leather, handcuffs and two men getting it on. Just like the original show.
And yes, I am scared where this is going.
Can we go to Fall Guy instead?
I doubt I will be changing my professions at all (Enchanting/Engineering main, Blacksmithing/Engineering alt).
I think you and I watched different versions of Airwolf... although that intro that I linked is different from the one I remember.
TO WIKIPEDIA!

Can I bind it to my MH rep ring? The proc on it keeps making me think I got BoPed all of the time.

Ps4 : Gigawatt666
Steam I.D. : Gigawatt666
LoL : GiG4W4TT
But then the warlocks that use it on a mob/boss or person at 50% or greater health can you no longer stare in shame at them?
Umm. Actually, yes, I'm pretty sure I've had to summon him for all three of these.
