Hahaha, I would just like to note that I'm currently winning the vote (according to my quick scan-and-count). There don't appear to be many votes, though, so that should change. Because the same person winning both votes is a silly idea!

Jaenther is the only person with a red vote already who is not voting for me (I think?). Therefore, he must die.

    There. Now I feel better.

Kime is galvanizing the village while gaining its trust and support. That seems unusual.

We sure do have a lot of grudge/silly red votes for a day two and nothing resembling a solid lead. Are we poorly organized? Are we planning on organizing around Kime based only on a universal love of cake? Should I really ask rhetorical questions I already know the answer to?

Oh boy, a Jaenther wagon. I'm going to enjoy this.
Kime can have my vote, on the condition that he shares something sufficiently awesome with the whole village. (No death doesn't count).

Lies, evil blood curling music that would make us all bleed out of our ears. I actually don't know where the bandwagon on you came from, especially since I seem to have started it. Yours was mainly a random placeholder vote.

    Day 3

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GX6siSHzJXY

The votes were cast, the hopper filling with folded squares of paper. As the day ends, the pylon retracted the hopper, shaking and wheezing for a moment. Then, bright yellow lights spelled out "KIME KIME" across the walls and floor, the sound of a kazoo splitting the air and confetti falling from the hatches.

As Kime took the stage, another vote fell, resentment and malice filling the air. The plaza turned on another woman, this one in a long dark dress. As she fell to the ground to be torn apart, the lights dimmed slightly with her.

A party began over Kime's reign, the people acclaiming their saviour and chosen one. Yet for every champagne flute drained, a skull seemed to be broken somewhere else. First, the room filled with a loud, animalistic screech, as a black, rotted owl the size of a man flew in from parts unknown. It tore apart a small man, black in moustache and leathers. As the chunks of this once-man filled the air, the man's dying actions were to grasp for a pile of papers - a will and right to property, in fact.

Someone reached down to help him, a tall man, naked to the waste and dressed in beautiful regal pants of gold and blue. Then he seemed to explode - passing first from whole health into an infestation of boils and oozing blisters. As his guts fell out onto the floor, his staff hit the ground, the large crystal clock on the top shattering into dust.

As people gaped at this horror, someone threw a sword at Kime on the stage. The thin epee seemed magically turned away from Kime, falling harmlessly to the floor. Little time could be spent on this event, however, as again there was a puff of smoke and the crack of shot. This time, the murdered figure was a man dressed in tweeds, turned over and well-worn, patched back into style. Stuffed into his shirt were posters calling for rebellions both civil and criminal.

In one of the corners of the plaza, the remaining Muses stood, morning the loss of their own. A darkened figure reached out behind them with skeletal hands, a long sharp scythe tearing through the Muse wearing a beautiful green gown. She bled blood and musical notes as she collapsed.

Finally, another corpse was found stuffed into a sectional couch - a young woman with eyes much older than her age. She wore regal blue and gold like the staff-man, her hands crossed in peace. From her eyes and mouth came small flows of golden light.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFbJJ8i7Z1Y

Again, the central pylon flowed to life, a fast electronic melody that tugged and lost the mind. Everyone lost themselves for a moment - a dance and a discussion that lasted for ages - but there was no time for action.

    ----

"Greetings, I'm celebrity reporter Mary Martin. Unlike yesterday, when our regular interview was postponed due to technical difficulties, we simply couldn't find anyone to interview tonight! Tee-hee! Our apologies to all our faithful viewers!"

    Consigned to Potter's Field:

Jaenther - Sister Sojourn Ghost: lynched
The_Reflection - Heir Apparent: torn apart
JaysonFour - Son Of The Staves Of Time: plagued
Romanqwerty - Leader Of The Rats: shot
Tiphareth - Muse of the Eternal Melody: all scythed up
Hippie - Sophia: burning so bright

Day 3 begins now. PMs are going out. Causes of death have been added to the previous narration. ATN - Miss A Day's effect: there is no village vote today.
