I was thinking that it would be a good idea to post somewhere on this forum that if people are bored and want to hang out with socially functioning types, drink beer, and play a game such as Talisman.

So. If you're around Seattle and you might be inclined to show up occasionally and play with people who are actually fun in a bar or the like, feel free to speak up (or PM me if you're shy) and I'll tell you more. I'm going to try to make a regular thing of it, and I thought that Talisman would be a good start (since I wanted to play it and went ahead and bought it and such).
I'm not sure if this kind of local meetup thing is done here or not, but boardgaming and beer via p2p internet has not been perfected yet and playing these things in person is more fun anyway.
Yes I know about meetup.com. It's lame. Yeah, I could make a facebook event, and I may yet. I just thought that this would be a good place to start. Hopefully everything has been accomplished in accordance with the ancient scrolls of PAforum Codec of Righteous Actions

Expensive envelopes! They keep threatening to redesign them and then it never happens. Oh well.
And if you bought them during the day, the night person probably printed them. I usually notice names of people I know. And then I rub those tickets on my body before mailing them. I don't recall rubbing your tickets anywhere on me.
