Now that you are here, the first thing you have to do is get Gridrunner Revolution. It is on sale on Steam for £2/$2/€2.

Now lets do a FAQ:

WHAT IS A GRIDRUNNER REVOLUTION?
Gridrunner Revolution is a game for Windows computers by Jeff Minter. It has bright lights, and clever designs.

Sort of. Space Giraffe polarized opinions a lot. Lots of people loved it, lots of people hated it.

Whether or not you liked Space Giraffe isn't really that important right now. The major complaint was "I can't tell what is going on", and that will likely not be a problem for you playing Gridrunner Revolution.

You see, Mr Minter responded to criticisms of Space Giraffe, and has made a much more playable game. The big difference is that you can easily see what is going on most of the time, even if you don't know exactly how you know.

HOW DO I PLAY IT?
You move your mouse around, and click the buttons from time to time.

I'll let Jeff explain it though.

You mainly have to collect sheep, dodge badies, shoot the sun, and curve your bullets into pretty patterns.

I remember seeing this a while ago, thinking it looked cool, but not wanting to pay the price. At $2, I couldn't resist though, so I just picked it up. Probably won't get a chance to play it until the weekend though.

I picked this up in the indie pack without looking at any screenshots or even knowing what sort of game it was. I love it so far, though I'm not sure if there's just a little bit too much going on. And I'm only at level 20 >.>

This is actually the first time I've seen footage of Space Giraffe. I'm fairly sure I played it to death two decades ago.

I played for like 30 minutes, I think, but I have no idea what just happened.

I thought Space Giraffe was utter garbage, and Minter occasionally acts like a complete child.

However, Gridrunner is infinitely more playable, and is quite a bit of fun. It is entirely worth 2$.

I only wish that the soundtrack was a little more varied.
