    It has a weak Devin Grayson story in it that furthers the new editorial idea that Scott and Jean just "settled" on each other.

    The August General in Iron issue of Great Ten was what I was waiting for since the series started, and it did not disappoint.

    Also, I'm hoping the new issue of Iron Mean means the book can get back to being about robot dudes getting drunk and punching each other with lasers.

    I don't know why, but I'm really glad Valerie D'Orazio's turning out to be a pretty good writer. I'd have been disheartened if, after all her bluster on her blog about comics, she debuted with some shitty work.

    Weapon X was good. I enjoyed the bromance between Steve and Logan, and I always like Kurt and Logan in anything.

    I dunno about Deathlok tho. Just another crazy robot/cyborg from the future for Logan to slash.

    Great Ten will hopefully be in trades (it's so good I'd buy the TPB on top of the singles), but it's selling at such a low number now (7k) that DC might think no one would even be interested in a trade.

    It looks like they're at least letting it go a full 10 issues, which is nice of them.

    It's not like he's supposed to be a nice guy though. He's a serial killer who has brutally murdered several thousand people by this point. Whether they deserved it or not, he's not a pleasant man.

    It's still a bit strange that he would go through the trouble of tracking her down, isn't it? He specializes in organized crime.

    Not that it's a big deal, since she obviously thought it was necessary for artistic reasons.

    The Sword (the Image comic, not the Marvel one) continues to have awesome fight scenes.

    In this issue, Dara
      fractures her wrist trying to punch a god!
      taunts said god!
      gets her uterus torn out through her abdomen!

    Cinderella: From Fabletown with Love #5 was a highlight, because it has Polar Bears walking around with machine guns. I will post some scans later.
