Apartment Contract Help...

Ok, so I admit this is pretty much my fault, but is there anyway out of this situation:

I moved up to Houston in January for an internship and I knew that it would be ending in March. I asked several times for a contract from January - March and filled it out on two different applications (one was lost). The day I was moving in I signed a contract and asked the lady if it was from January - March, she said yes. Unfortunately for me, in the contract it was written from January - April. Now that I'm moving out they're basically telling me I have to pay for April, even though I'm moving out next week.

Is there anyway to get out of paying for April? I've already talked to management here and they told me to call their supervisor which I've done. If anyone could provide some insight I'd appreciate it.

TLDNR version: I foolishly signed a contract I didn't read carefully and have to pay for an extra month even though I won't be here.

If the lease you signed says April, unless the complex is willing to let you out of it you are stuck paying through April.

Yeah, you're pretty much stuck. They don't have any reason to let you out of the contract. Try begging in a pathetic way?

^^ Best advice. Always read something before you sign... you probably don't need this reminder now though. Better luck in the future.
