Currently waiting to pull the trigger on buying some HP desktops for the office, I guess there was a leaked document that went around a few months back saying Microsoft was going to offer a free upgrade from 2007 to 2010 when you bought it in a certain date range. Any one happen to know what's going on there?
We're currently using Office 2003 standard OEM, and looking to get the equivalent of 2007 with these new machines but none of our vendors seem to have any info on it.
Also, does anyone have some suggestions on where to go for OEM licenses? I need 5 to start, we mainly use word/excel and outlook, with 14 all together once we get all the current machines replaces.
Newegg has OEM licenses of Office. As far as the deal, it's been standard practice for MS. Expect it to only be for the 2 months or so before Office 2010 comes out.
