I crave a match that isn't 12 recon vs 11 recon and a lone engineer
I think I'm almost done with the singleplayer. It's awesome but getting kinda stale towards the home stretch. Definitely feels like a Battlefield singleplayer, as in the MP is the main focus with a singleplayer campaign to compliment it.

Cooperation is key. This game is 10x more fun even if you just find a random guy who shoots at the same stuff you're shooting at.
Play it slow & thoughtful. Whilst everyone else is running around like a maniac, pick your attacks carefully. You will be quite safe in your low profile, but lethal when you choose to selectively turn up the aggression.

never ever hip fire. you may as well just shoot directly into the ground.
also once you are a class who can help in some way (healing, fixing things etc) make sure you actually do it.

Don't play recon.
Alternatively, play recon and use your scope more for spotting than for shooting.
I've been switching between this and medic and having a ball.

Engineer, myself. It forces you to really choose your fights extremely carefully. And of course, things going bang are lovely to watch. Quite an engaging class.

I've noticed that all tanks have an open hatch on top of them. I haven't noticed if it's like if you don't have a secondary gunner only, but if it isn't... Would it be possible to lob a grenade in there and kill the crew?

What's the best way for a guy to practice piloting helis without using up precious vehicles for my team in multiplayer?
Use mines, damn you all. It's like free tank kills ALL the time! No really, I lay down a 6-pack in separated 3-mine triangles and it's two almost guaranteed vehicle kills.
I do! when defending that's my first two lives at least, sprinkling little cookies of death all over the place. I wish it didn't take two lives, but assaults NEVER DROP AMMO.

Wait what? Why die twice? I just use the explosives spec to give me double the capacity and I get to place all 6 on the first go.
Also, I like just setting up a little assault nest for myself, plopping down an ammo box, and just spamming nades over a nearby hill. Tube launched AND hand thrown! Box apparently replenishes both.
I don't kill myself intentionally. I just don't have the explosives spec yet. so the first two lives I have as a defender are dedicated to dumping AT mines.

I can tell you from experience that it is entirely possible, if your net is not complete ass, causing you to rubberband off the tank as soon as it moves. I may have even posted in here just to say that you can do it, back in the beta. I know I posted it on /v/.

Man, haven't you watched Band of Brothers? Getting your arm blown off might actually be healthier than getting it penetrated by smaller calibers. Huge calibers with lots of kinetic energy aren't ideal to kill people with!
I mean, have you watched the youtube clips of what the AA-12 does? THAT should be your autokill.

Seriously I want to get shot once and then be dragged by my buddies to the field hospital as I am screaming in agony, after which I am sent back home because I've lost all function of my lower body and have to spend the rest of my life in a wheelchair, and I find out that the government I was defending has abandoned me and refuse to give me the kind of treatment and medical attention that someone shot in a war deserves, and in attempt to dull out the pain that gnaws on me daily I turn to drugs and whoring my broken body to get said drugs, and finally my life ends lonely, lying in a pool of my own vomit at a dark alley somewhere, I mean honestly.
