Does the tracer dart drop at all over distance? In my experience it doesn't seem to, but then I have a hard time following the trail it makes.
Also conquest on that logging road map where point A is in front of the barn can fuck right off. Hey geniuses don't you realize we die 10x more trying to take this fucking point than anything else? Let them have the damn thing and let's concentrate on the other two ok?
The tracer dart does not drop, it travels in a straight line. Devs said that's so hitting choppers isn't a straight-up pain in the ass.
No weapons except the m24, SV98 and the GOL has any bullet drop.
... what?
Ever tried putting a scope on your AR or LMG? Now fire it, watch the bullets. Have you ever had to compensate for bullet drop for any gun except bolt action sniper rifles? The only exception there is the m95, which doesn't have bullet drop either. This is probably part of why the m60 is so great at a distance.
M95 definitely has bullet drop. I've had to compensate my aim due to bullet drop many times using that gun.

Yes it most certainly drops. Rance, the amount of time you have played this game is rediculous. 40+ hours?

A good portion of that is when I mistakenly left my 360 on BC2 overnight a couple of times. Stats page should prove that what with this guy in my friend list having nearly the same stats but only half the time played.
1. Nerf the shit out of the M60
2. Some sort of grace period for rezzing
3. Class caps (at least a server option for them)
4. Rezzing immunity disappears as soon as the rezzed guy moves or shoots
5. A server browser that is not awful
6. Functioning auto-balance and shuffling teams in between maps
Rezz immunity should end as soon as the person is fully standing. And bullets should go through them, not be blocked.
Not being able to kill the medic because he is hiding behind the silly goose he just instantly ressed while I was shooting at him is lame.
Dunno if I agree to #3, multiples of a class aren't a problem, bad players are the problem.
and add 7. Remove knife lunge. It should be used to kill unaware people, not lunge 20 feet for a free kill.

Does anyone play this game on XP x64? I'm wondering if thats what my issue is.
Windows XP should be listed as not compatible with BC2. I don't think anyone who has XP64 has been able to actually play, by reading the EA Forums. If the game actually runs, they are disconnected every 5 minutes.
Something else that needs to be added into the game is that smoke grenades last longer. Even as their are now, they are incredibly useful, I'm throwing smokescreens directly in front of the enemy, denying all their visual on us (Except for spotting), and I'm positive that my smoke screens secured us quite a few MCOMS.

I still think that by default medics should revive people at like 50% and then maybe have a perk that takes up the same slot as magnum and LMG proficiency but allows revives to come back at 100%
either that or have a rez sickness that slowly bleeds away or something.
yeah Sorry Nameless, I was thinking you might have a similar problem as me (game freezes and system must be hard reset) which is solved by disconnecting your microphone. I used to run XP64 until all the stupid broken shit about it finally caused me to switch to vista 64. . . which I've later switched to Win7x64 and works quite well.

As does the M60. You definitely need to compensate for drop at very long range just most of the time you aren't shooting at someone far enough away to worry about it.

Just remove the goddamn invulnerability frames, please: I play a medic quite a bit, but when I have to shoot other medics, and their recently resurrected friends with their newly found god-mode eat four NS2000 shells to the chest and turn around, then promptly knife me, that is horseshit.
I mean yeah it would suck to die, get revived, and immediately die again, but holy fuck it's frustrating for the person who deserved to kill you (twice).
Unless it's an M60 or Mk. II Explosives Carl Gustav user, jesus christ.
The only three things I'd like to see in the next patch is:
1.) Crouch toggle. I'd crouch more if I didn't have to hold down C all the time.
2.) Hold to aim. This makes aiming down the sight cancelable while your bringing up your sights.
3.) Fix autobalance. The game already auto-assigns, so making an algorithm to balance two goddamn numbers is something a first year CS student could write, no idea why this is bugged.

There is no need for invulnerability frames. Medics just shouldn't be ressing people when there is someone shooting at them.

Massed medics are a problem (although maybe not if they'd implement #2), and the perpetual mortar striking of recon-heavy teams is just absurd. That mortar strike is ten times the tool C4 is.
But again, I'd just like to see an option... not something hard-wired in. But I'd certainly play on servers that say that no more than 1/3 of a team can be of the same class, or something like that. E.g. you don't need 8 recons on a 16-man team on Valdez.

200+ point marksman headshots while someone is sprinting is satisfying

This is my list exactly. Nothing else in this game bothers me except for these three things.
The hilarious part is that the console versions of Bad Company 2 (at least, the PS3) have crouch toggle and hold to aim. Why can't they have it for the PC version?

So for those PAers who thought it would be awesome fun to just play a massive team of medics, good job on wrecking the game for everyone else. No, really, congratulations. Everybody knows the way to have the most fun is to waste most of their time trying to kill invincible players over and over and over. Steamrolls for a couple hours are the best.
explosives doesn't fix the problem when half of them survive the explosions from being invincible.
also yes I just got dropped from angry.
Just as another further example of how stupid the medic crap is, I killed one guy down a hill then switched targets to a medic up near me. Rather than shoot back, the medic sprints down the hills and revives his teammate just before dying. Then the revivee proceeds to injure two of my teammates before going down.
I would never have expected so many PA players to do something as stupid as stacking a team with medics when playing against another team with a bunch of PA players. And then they just kept things that way for, what, a couple hours? Just before the games I was wondering about how much to donate to the servers, but with repeated steamrolling like that I'm not really sure it's worth it.

Are you talking about the games just right now? Because I was on the offending team, and no, it wasn't all medics. It might have felt like that because Vantac (sp?) was being an awesome medic, and I was doing the same thing.
However I understand how you feel, medics are way too broken.

Yeah, I know it wasn't all medics, but if the medic count dropped below half the team at any time I would be surprised. Trying to kill any group was trying to kill an unstoppable, invincible wall. It simply wasn't possible to kill the medics fast enough to get them off a point, much less keep them off a point. Every fight was just a matter of time until Team Medic had enough medics in one spot to unstoppably chain rez clear to the MCOM.

M95 definitely has bullet drop. I've had to compensate my aim due to bullet drop many times using that gun.
I got knifed trying to enter a tank. Someone was trying to shoot a uav near the tank while I ran for it and an enemy appears running for the tank.
He knifes the guy staring up and as soon as I hit the button to enter it switched to pick up kit and then I was knifed and the tank stolen.
