I can't view PDFs

Okay so for some reason i can't view PDFs on my computer. It's weird because I can see a preview of theme in the little preview screen but when I click on them they just don't load. It's the same thing with my Adobe Acrobat program. I double click on it and it just doesn't load.

So I was wondering is there an open source PDF viewer that I can download?

    Hm okay a quick google search got me a program called foxit. It seems to work alright...

    You can't just install/reinstall Acrobat Reader?

    Other than that, you might tray Open Office, I'm pretty sure you can view PDFs with that.

    I have tried reinstalling. It wasn't working. I'm sure if I sit down with someone techy for half an hour or something we could fix adobe but I just really needed a quick fix so that I could print of these uni documents. Cheers though I'll check out open office.

    Unless you really need specific things from Adobe, you're much better off getting rid of it alltogether and using one of the lightweight PDF programs like foxit or sumatraPDF.
