Anyone have tips on getting demolition kills? I've been going out of my way to blow up buildings I think will have people in them using the grenade launcher, and it usually just results in team kills
I don't know they expect people to get 20 kills doing that... I haven't even got one yet and I'm already rank 13.
I got kicked from a server for teamkilling 10 people when I destroyed a building. You dumb motherfuckers shouldn't have all been in one building!
I'm gonna go with a resounding you shouldn't have been shooting/destroying a building with 10 teammates in it.
I think it is partly down to blind luck whether you end up with them. I ended up with 5 demolition kills at once and it was completely unintentional. Had an empty clip, so sent a 40mm at a guy who was arming an MCOM. That didn't kill him, but the building coming down on his head did. Along with his 4 friends. And, er, whoops, sorry MCOM.
Just realized it's not the "limited edition" so no free stuff for me

I believe that's a part of EA's 15 dollar plan. If you buy their games brand new you get access to DLC which you would have had to purchase if you bought the game used. If I'm not mistaken anyway.

The free stuff is stuff you'll unlock eventually anyway. The DLC is a pair of maps, with another pair on the way. If you can't find the code and you have the PC version, it's apparently already included or something. I had no "VIP code" but both maps were available.

There is literally NOTHING more fun in this game than griefing sniper recons. Because you KNOW they're sitting in their basements, their pudgy, pale teenage bodies shaking in rage.

Battlefield 1943 PC version delayed till September
The developer of the Battlefield: Bad Company, DICE has lately explained the reason of PC version of Battlefield 1943 being delayed.
This first-person shooter game will be releasing for Xbox 360 and PS3 by June this year and the PC version of the game will be available by September this year. The producer of the game, Gordon Van Dyke attributed the delay to the fact that Battlefield 1943 is the first PC title to use DICE’s Frostbite Engin. This was earlier harnessed to create the console exclusive Battlefield: Bad Company.
Van Dyke also said to the media that the PC version of the game needs more features and more support, and it can’t just be thrown out there using copy/paste.
He even added, “We feel once you play the first Frostbite PC game ever from DICE you’ll see why we put this extra time and care in on the development making all right again in the universe.”
