Well BC2 doesn't have a knife charge does it? I also like how using it does kind of disallow you from firing for a bit which in some situations can seriously fuck you.
No yeah if you jump and knife you'll home right in and stab a guy int he face. I don't remember any games other than MW2 or BC2 that running up to a dude and stabbing was more effective than shooting.

Usually if a guy tries to knife you from the front you just run towards him a bit and sidestep. He normally lunges through you and you just shoot him in the side.
Disappointing. I guess the 6 tags I have from CarbonFire only count as one.
My K/D is so low from completing too many objectives. Ah well. I did once get 64 kills in a round while still playing correctly though and not using vehicles, which I think is impressive. We lost. :-/

Think of it as more of a reward for actually getting close enough to knife someone. Especially in this where a lot of the combat is mid-long range. I don't know about you, but very rarely am I engaging targets close enough for me to knife or for them to knife me.

I like how today I had someone hit me with a gustav from knifing distance and on the kill cam you see their body launching through the air.
I saw a kill cam of my attacker being folded up like an accordion, I assume he ate a 40mm to the face.
I was sprinting from a spawn the other day towards an MCOM. I was still a ways out, though, when up ahead I saw a flash, heard a boom, and saw four teammates fly in the air in different directions. One was shot straight up, the others to the right across my screen. One hit what I think was a telephone pole or something, and sort of wrapped himself around it.
The ragdoll, while subtle, is well done in this game.

The conquest maps seem a bit too big for 8 players. I could imagine it being great if it was a proper game mode with smaller maps like Squad Rush, though.

Best killcam: Being sniped and then seeing someone go all shiv crazy maximum security style on the sniper.
I will issue the final proclamation on knives btw: They are fine, except sometimes buggy as fuck. I've missed knife kills I should have had (including at least one where a Kill Bill amount of blood issued forth from my target), and got hit by knife kills that shouldn't have (through 3 inches on concrete, from someone facing 180 degrees away, etc). I've got a couple bullshit ones myself, including through a wall about as thick as the knife.
My top BF feature (not really, but kinda): A kill cam that shows bright red tracers for your bullets. Sometimes I wonder what dimension my shotgun slugs end up in.

Yes, Conquest, one squad per side. Which is what we ended up playing for at least three hours on Angry Dome because noone else was online.
Goddamn that was epic on the day-time snow village map. No getting gunned down by a medic blob, lots of building-to-building fighting, flanking and ambushes you can't really do with a full 32 players because you'll just flank into another group and then it all goes Charlie Foxtrot.
