the help article specifically tells you to rename it to clientregistryold.blob.

Maybe steam can read it while making a new one.

Yeah, they were automatically included. Now when you start the game you are given a choice to play the regular game of the Borderlands DLC.

I did break my arm a long time ago and learned to use the N64 controller with one hand. KBAM might be different though. I might have been forced to play it on a console D:

So today's sale is Batman: Arkham Asylum for $24.99 and Just Cause for $7.49. Or you can get them together for $22.09, which I find hilarious.

According to the front page; they should be marked 60% off individually, making Batman $19.99.

I played it for the PS2 some time ago, and I thought it was pretty awesome.

The storyline is sort of cliched (help the rebels overthrow the corrupt dictatorship, etc), but the environment was pretty cool, and the vehicles had a certain flavor that I liked.

Plus, the parachute mechanic was all sorts of awesome, and the stunt positions were great as well, even though they were hopelessly unrealistic.

I can only imagine the PC version being better.

    Not really
it looks really bad, not as in LOL GRAPHYX, more like bad textures, bad models, awful animations, terrible art direction.

    the controls are very weird.

the world isn't as interesting as the JC2 demo.

the shooting is terrible and you're 99% immortal

JC2 does every possible thing better. JC1 is utterly obsolete, there is no real reason to play it. Even the JC2 demo is a lot better.

But maybe you own Batman, and are looking for more hot grapple-hook on surface action. In which case you should still wait for Just Cause 2, not least because they somehow think £14 is a fair price for a 4 year old port of a so-so OXbox game.

They did a real good job mapping the controls intuitively, especially if you have a 4+ button mouse. Hell, quick grapple even got its own button, whereas on the xbox you need to doubletap. About the only negative is that wasd doesn't offer as precise of control when brawling, as you hit a direction and an attack to launch across the room.

Then again, being UE3 and an awesome developer equals full control customization, so there is that.

    Stupid phone autocorrect.

I played it all the way through with KBAM just fine, though I did vastly prefer a 360 controller when I replayed it with one later on. Like many games with a lock pick minigame, this one has one that has a UI that really works better with dual analog sticks, and it's waaaay more satisfying to bash people's face in with a stout thumb press of the X button instead of a piddly little left click.

Still, KBAM is perfectly serviceable here.

Edit: Hey, seven bucks for all of FFXI. How much is that game's monthly fee?

I think I used the pad, but KBAM works just as well. They're both 100% viable options, so much that I can't even recall which one I used.
