I'll be glad to play you in Super. I'm not kidding that I haven't been playing normal SF. I think ive played 25 matches since January maybe 50 since November. Hopefully the PA PS3 folks can get some SSF4 quarter mode play going.
before like last week i hadnt played SF4 since last year sometime. i pulled it back out in anticipation of super though, and have been having a blast again. im all kinds of rusty now though heh.
Ugh, I had to mute it. One more Shiz joke and I'll cry.
Hey I just got back after being away for an hour, did I miss any SF4 finals?

Sev: Your gameplay is the most heavily yomi based around. Usually you look for characters that allow you to force guessing situations for big dmg. Even if the guess is mathematically nowhere near in your favor lol. You're happiest when you have either a 50/50, 33/33/33 or even a 75/25 situation to go crazy with. And you will take big risks to force those situations to come up.
Okay, I'm alright with shenanigans going on so long as I'm away.

That dude was totally cheating like a scrub. It's arm wrestling, not Lean with your body wrestling. Hakan would not approve.

It sounds like you're the scrub, complaining about a perfectly legitimate tactic!
What? How dare you! I just have honor, and real skills! I would never use such a cheap tactic as leaning, or throwing!

Same here. Tack on trying to switch my game from a pad to a stick and it feels like I might as well be playing with my feet. I landed an Oga>Super>Ultra the other day and decided I should quit while I was ahead.

But you, pig, are a lucky one. Tell us what we wish to know, and you may yet keep your bacon.

There are some good pad players out there, yes. However, it is almost universally recommended that if you plan to dedicate time and effort to being more than a beginner, you get get a stick.
Some aren't too expensive. You can get an SE for around $60, plus there seem to be sales on the TE quite often.
it's just a suggestion, of course.

To make that custom stick I would need a shoebox. Do you think that kind of cardboard grows on trees?!
I guess I could try to seek out a good price on a stick, but I do like a nice Dpad though.
I think you can still find official Fightpads for around $30.

Yeah I've been eyeballin those ones since SF4 first came out. Once I get one, my fingers will thank me for it, but the playstation controller has made them all the tougher for it.
Final Round stream is down at the moment, but SF4 top 8 is up next!

Same. I cant make myself go through the terrible PS3 game search anymore. Just too frustrating.
When SSF4 comes out I think is where most PS3 folks will start playing.

No, they're doing arm wrestling for some god-forsaken reason.
