Sev: Your gameplay is the most heavily yomi based around. Usually you look for characters that allow you to force guessing situations for big dmg. Even if the guess is mathematically nowhere near in your favor lol. You're happiest when you have either a 50/50, 33/33/33 or even a 75/25 situation to go crazy with. And you will take big risks to force those situations to come up.

Top 8 right now, Justin Wong got sent to loser's by a viper player, I think Flash Metroid but not sure. He just counterpicked a gief with Sagat and won the match, nto sure what's up next.

I actually like skisonic's commentating. He talks fast, but he does explain the game well. Also, its hilarious when he calls out the players when they do dumb things.
looks like the chat is malfunctioning for you. The godsgarden 2 stream did that to me when i logged in before the stream started.

man, I don't understand the counterpicking hate. Being able to play more than one character is not the mark of a weaker player.
I dunno man. I'd rather see a player tough it out and bring up the level of his play rather than fall back on a counterpick.

Can't hate on Justin for counterpicking. Being able to play multiple characters at that level really just shows how ridiculous he is. Though being able to play fighting games all day as basically your job probably makes it a bit easier to do that.
edit: Yeah, marn just throwing it away is bullshit.
vVv Scrub or whatever has been a very solid Balrog for a while. AKA Puerto Rican Balrog.
He was the only rog I've ever seen with enough balls to ultra Daigo through fireball spam.

He fought JWong in loser's, they did a Rufus mirror the first round, and then he chose Akuma the second round and didn't even raelly put up a fight. Was loser's quarter or semi-final, I forget.

Its not "falling back", exactly. Being able to play more than one character well is hard. The matchup might be easier, but acquiring the skills to win with more than one character takes a lot of work.
FlashMetroid has faced and defeated many good boxers. Justin just proved that hes better than all of them, and its not even the character he practices the most.
We are talking about the guy who won tournaments using Fei Long, of all characters.

edit: so it *is* possible for someone not named Daigo to beat justin wong.

I'm missing all of the stream's chat for no apparent reason because it says I'm banned. The video stream works fine, but the text window is blanked.
I don't think I've ever actually used this chat thing aside from resizing the window so it's out of sight.

"And the crowd goes boo-hype. Darth Vader wins another one"
After getting manhandled for 2 games as Rufus vs FlashMetroid's Viper, he pulls out his rog and runs it back 3 games.
