I won't be crying when we finally get wireless power transfer.
Given the power strips in my apartment, me too.
Plus glowing in the dark will be really cool, as well.
Speaking of! You know those sneakers with the roller skates in the heel? I found an attachment for any shoe to do the same, but the wheels light up. It's just really hard to balance still >.<
So All Quiet on the Western Front is basically the first book to make me completely bawl. The horrible mood and late hour and mild intoxication might have had something to do with it, but it was terrible.
Of Mice and Men
I just...all he wanted was to pet some rabbits, that's all. Just pet some rabbits.
The South is the best case for dissolving States rights altogether
the fact that "states rights!" is even a thing in the US horrifies me.
i mean, in Canada, we have provinces, but outside of Quebec you never hear about "PROVINCES RIGHTS"
arguments over taxes and who gets the slices of the federal budget pie, sure!
but not "our state has the right to burn gays at the stake, STATES RIGHTS"
It is pretty much the natural result of the country being created from several independent colonies whose permission was required to form the country in the first place.
there's a lot of cultural mentalities in the US that are the direct lineage of the way the country was created
like your obsession with the right to bear arms
or the whole tea-bagger thing
Without a gun what's to stop the Queen of England to come into your house and start pushing you around? You want that? Do ya?

I haven't had the pleasure of that one. Sounds traumatizing though.
This one was like, the author's soul bleeding out on to the pages. It was so simple, but incredibly poignant and honest. It's the kind of work that makes you want to redirect your efforts to working towards making sure no one else has to go through it, because if it can inspire that sort of despair in the reader, jesus fuck.

Hrm. Hooked my PC to my TV. Sadly, my TV only really supports 720p it looks like, not 1080i, so I'm stuck at some weird resolution that's not as crisp as it could be. WoW looks pretty good though, and I'm typing this, so it's definitely usable. Nice change of pace for a bit anyway.

I'm on the other side of this issue. I bought a 1080p tv/monitor, but my computer only goes up to 1440x900 resolution. So everything is fuzzy if I'm not far away from it. :?
states don't have rights, companies don't have rights. Only people have rights.
Anthropomorphication. Been a problem for humans since forever. First it was the mountains and the weather and chance. Now it's Texas and Sony. And people who still think the sky is kind of a person. Same phenomenon.
Anthropomorphism is one of those deep things in the brain that fucks us up.

I think this is my favorite musical one...
especially because there are a couple of slightly different versions. after watching the one moniker posted I'll check to see if this is truly complete
I wish I had SC2 so I could play with people I don't hate on the internet. It was a lot of fun when people were playing supreme commander 2 but since Chaos Rising came out they all went back to that.

WW-2 technically was the war to end all wars.
Queen of England ca n just overthrow Canada
Congress hasn't declared a war since. Well, except for on Poverty, Drugs, and Terror.

We must destroy abstract concepts!
They aren't official wars.
I think we're in both of those by executive order, not by an act of congress?
Don't forget the War on Logic they've been waging since the 80s.
And then you gave me all your stuff and I won?
That was fun.
Hm...
Yes, but they never actually declared one. All they did was authorize the use of military force. Like a police action on the global scale.
That's nice. Armchairs are pretty sweet contraptions.
I think she said it is green?
Congratulations, sir.

Armchairs are wonderful.
Unless it's a lime green color.
My guess would be a forest or sage green, and right out of the 70's.
Does it come with its own copy of The Who?

Hey, animals have rights.
I have no idea what is going on or what they are talking about.
EPIC
I forgot to build my spawning pool. Entirely.

I want to be bad at SC2 too
