Cheapest Windows 7 possible

Hello,
Does anyone have thoughts on how to get the cheapest copy possible? The person who needs it is a student. Windows 7 upgrades are available cheaply on the "ultimate steal" site. I have an install disc; I just want to get a valid, legal CD key for a full install of home premium or prof. The MSDNAA arbitrage route is still closed, right?

I got my copy in January through my school's MSDNAA site with no trouble at all. If that program is over then that is news to me.

MSDNAA works if the school participates; the Ultimate Steal/Win741.com are your best bet otherwise as far as I know.

Just get a cheap OEM copy. Shouldn't run you more than the price of an average school textbook.

If your pc came with a copy of windows before, upgrade editions will also be potentially cheaper. Depends where you can find a deal.
