So, perusing the free stuff on Steam, I see SMOD, which looks really cool.
A kick? A banana gun? A PSP UMD GUN?! I'm there!
I also heard nebulous reports about stuff being 'different' to sort of make playing through HL2 again fresh, I guess.
So I'm in Nova Prospekt, and the only difference so far is that I have the grease gun. (And the kick.)
Am I doing it wrong? Is there an option I missed to actually turn on the changes SMOD offers?
