can you still buy the DS/Nintendo official wifi connection dongle-majig...thing...amabob? I would've thought broader WEP support would have then made all of that redundant, but maybe eBay?

my main issue with this thing is wpa (which i am using) is higher in terms of security (although i probably could lower it to wep because the likelihood of someone breaking into my network upon seeing it has a password is like 0) and it would be such a pain in my ass if i had to switch my whole network and all computers associated with it to wep just because of one game
maybe i can set up an exception or some shit aaaaah i just want to trade and shit god damn it
if your router supports it, or supports flashing to the dd-wrt firmware, you can setup a virtual wireless device with WEP while still keeping the WPA encrypted connection

As I'm reading this it is suggesting it is only a wireless adapter, meaning it will work if you use it to attach for wireless to a specific pc, not make it a router hub.
You would need a WEP router.

I actually tried to make a Gurren Laggan team once. I could only come up with Beedril=Laggan, Manectric=Kittan Gallade=Enkidu, and Magmotar kinda looks like Attenbourough.

I like Ho-Oh so I'm using it. Also as helpful as it's been Weepinbell's inherent weakness was getting more obvious with every gym so I needed a replacement anyway.
I might replace Ampharos with Raikou but probably not.
