I guess the 4-5 hour comment sorta makes sense. Before you could theoretically hit the perfect storm by just trying the same BG over and over until you won, whereas now since everyone has randomized BG's the people who are clueless can't just hit that eureka moment? I guess...I am having a hard time seeing how this will be such a monstrosity compared to before.
Authenticator box doesn't pop up anymore, it's part of the interface underneath "password." By submitting the info like that they can't intercept part and show you a false error, you'll just log in.
Well, I suppose there are still ways, but they're much more complicated, like using a whole different exe that looks exactly the same or something.
The man in the middle attack may still exist depending on how they handle the communication session. Of course, it now has to niclude some form of killing the connection midstream after it attempts to send the autheticator key, so the difficulty level has gone up more likely than not but it hasn't gone up beyond the levels that many trojans already function at. Actually, depending on how Windows 7 handles its network stuff, it may have gone up pretty significantly, but I'll leave figuring that out to someone with more experience with 7 than my none at all.

So, I thought the new honor commendations you get from turning in BG marks were BoA? Did that change on the last PTR push or was that never the case and I just misread?
So, tourney jousting. It is FUN now. Can't put my finger on the change, exactly, but I think they lowered the cooldown on all the abilities. I know I blew through all 4 jousts in less than two minutes, though. That never happened before, and I've been doing it for MONTHS.

GMail tells you the origin of the original e-mail in the header. Also you can change the e-mail associated with your WoW account. I have a separate address on a separate domain that is only for my WoW account so that I know an e-mail to any other address is fake.

Hahaha, no. That'd be the smart thing to do.
Instead, it's an item that gives X honor per use. You buy it from the old BG Daily quest giver. It only stacks to ten AND has a cooldown of a GCD or so, making it VERY FUCKING ANNOYING if you had a lot of one BG.
So I know this will probably only last as long as it's a shiny new toy, but clicking "Random Battleground" and instantly getting into a Battleground instead of waiting 5-10 minutes is great.
Unfortunately I lost every single one of them because my battlegroup still sucks terribly on my faction's side. And I kept getting SotA and AB, which isn't too bad I guess. It could have been WSG. On the plus side, only 3K honor away from my 4th pvp mount (bought the first 3 the hard way).
Edit: Also, was the Dalaran Auction Robot down for any other engineers?
Doing the weekly, Raz for us with two of my guildies who know I'm talking on the phone and just spamming fok through trash to make it seem like i care so when we get to raz he asks if me or one of the pugs who was below me on the total damage chart to that point if we'd get on crystals. I was confused till I realized we only had one tank and they asked the guy below me to do the crystal since he was lowest dps. He freaked out and left the group. So they called me out next. In guild chat one of my guildies told me to spank the raid leader (also a rogue) in dps on the boss and then in raid he said he'd get on the crystal. So cool everything's set and I have a personal challenge to one up the RL.
We start the fight, everything's going good then all of a sudden the you are not part of this instances group box pops up and I lose all my raid buffs. I"m kinda pissed and kinda laugh at it and figure I have a minute before it ports me I'll help out my guildies at least and get another group later. So after a minute I get ported out and the first guy who left is chilling at the GY so we BS for a few seconds then out of nowhere I get my triumph emblem and am now saved to this instance and get my raz kill credit. I laugh and link my guildies the damage meter I had for myself asking how I compared. They then told the RL one of the most sarcastic wow related things I've heard in a long time. "It's a good thing you kicked the 7K+ dps. I mean, your 4k was pro though." It's not even like 4k is bad but the way they said it made me laugh for a long ass time though.
Point being. If you ever want to get the weekly done start the boss fight then leave/get kicked and profit. Also most of us rogues are giant dicks

Gearscore is worthless and should die in a fire.
I swear there is NO VALUE in condensing a person's gear into a number and using that number to determine who you run with. I find the concept itself inherently offensive. Holding recount against someone is one thing, that just makes you a dick(Unless you're actually running into a DPS wall like Festergut). But rejecting people because of Gearscore makes you a dick AND a moron.
I've run with people in greens and blues that completely blew away people in modern raid gear. Because one of these people knew how to play their class. And one was essentially buttonmashing.

And yes, while Pitbull 4 isn't bad to set up once you get the hang of it, it still feels incredibly counter-intuitive.

One thing I did notice is that the gold was removed from the BG daily. Bastards.
