Whats better to choose from the Collector ship as an Adept? Sniper Rifles, Assault Rifles, or Shotguns?
I see assault rifle mentioned in here usually. Haven't pushed the adept that far myself, but I would think the shotgun would be lacking without charge, and the sniper (if you've played Infiltrator/Soldier) would feel like it's missing the time warp.

I've heard of Shotgun Adepts, but most choose either the AR or SR.
The Viper could be a good choice since it can essentially be your second Canifex (with more ammo too). It also gives you some range and lets you take care of Heavies very easily. Also, Armour is usually the hardest to take down, isn't it?
The Collector Rifle, Geth Pulse Rifle and Vindicator are all really good AR's, and with enough upgrades, can strip away protection pretty easily, making it easy to get your Warp Explosion combos ready. In addition, they don't suffer from the problem that Sniper Rifles do, that you have to be out of cover for a while to line up a good Sniper Rifle shot.
I myself have not tried both (my current Adept is an SR one), though I am thinking about it. You can do the game either way, and even on Insanity it wont really end up making the game harder overall.

Armour for an Adept? What with Warp and combining teammates with Warp, armour is not hard to take down. Bringing Miranda and Garrus so far has given me double Overload for shields, double Warp for armour and barriers, and Singularity + Warp for health. The only thing I'm lacking is range, so perhaps I will go for the Vindicator since it is a fairly accurate AR.

Has ANYONE ever finished the Dr. Banes subquest? I have never in my five odd playthroughs finished it due to the fact that Kahoku is always gone by the time I realize I need him to finish it. This is from ME1.

Who else enjoyed the short and silly stompymech side-mission in ME2? Come to think of it, some Bioware employees occasionally look in. If you get the chance, please tell whomever was behind it that my friend and I both enjoyed the premise, diversion, and the little bit where the guest-star gets so fired up about the mission that they can't stop.

It's not Doctor Banes, but there's no real finish.
After you hear about Banes for the first time you're supposed to just go ask Anderson about it. He gets all weird and just tells you that Banes is actually dead but the Alliance doesn't want that information leaked just yet.
If you go talk to Kahoku, he just tells you that he already knew Banes was dead but that the people who found his body on the ship are missing.

I am intrigued and confused.

Send them a Pair of Running Shoes. Used or Otherwise. Or a letter, but let's not be formulaic. Send them a picture of trainers, too. Or a painting. Or money. Whatever.
there's an n7 mission where you have this YMIR heavy mech with shitty batteries
you turn it on, it stomps and shoots through everything, rock walls, boulders, what have you, and every so often it runs out of juice so you have to go get a battery and put it in the mech
you follow it around while it ploughs through everything and then at the end it blows up, revealing the prize- minerals!

A couple pages ago we were discussing Grunt and his lack of the traditional Krogan crest.
I was just looking at him, and I don't know about you guys but its pretty blatantly obvious that he is in the process of growing one.

In fact, it seems that the only ones who are really NOT diverse are the asari.

Would you care to elaborate?
diverse phenotypes
turians have several colors, but their faces are more similar to each other than salarians.

Turians aren't really diverse. They mostly just seem to have different colored faceplates.

And some of it's war-paint, like the blues in Garrus' face.
But because I'm doing an Insanity run, I can't do it right now.

I'd ask for details, but I'm too busy getting raped on Horizon to make it to any side missions right now.

That's it.
It doesn't pick up in ME2 either.

Am sure I was beat, but it was just some US-only auction of random stuff through the bioware community website.
It's a contest/auction thing for Bioware swag.

edit: You weren't beat, but you don't have linkage!

They just gave the tokens to people outside the US to rub it in.

You got a link to the apology?
Personally, I wasn't angry at them, I was just disappointed.
