BioWare's Evil Chris is coming to PAX East and bringing the swag with him. Win some!

Howdy fellow PAXers.

I'm BioWare Edmonton's Community guy, Evil Chris Priestly. If you're a PAX Primer, you've likely seen a fat guy in a staff shirt hanging out at the Mass Effect or Dragon Age booths? Yeah, that's me. Well, I'm coming to PAX East (woot!) and I'm bringing some swag with me.

We've recently launched Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2, so we don't have a booth at East this year, but I'm coming anyways to take in a PAX as a fan instead of a developer. Even so, I'm still all about meeting our fans at Cons, so I'm going to be bringing a selection of t-shirts and other swag to give away during the show.

Every 1/2 hour during the exhibit hall hours I will be tweeting my location on our biofeed twitter account. If you're a follower and the first to find me with the "secret code word" I tweet, you get some snazzy BioWare swag.

Even if you don't follow me on Twitter, if you see me walking around in my BioWare, Mass Effect or Dragon Age shirt with my BioWare backpack, stop me and say hi. Let me know what you like or dislike about our games (no I cannot get you into the TOR beta, so don't ask), let me know what you want to see in Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age 2, etc, buy me lunch, propose marriage, etc. I love to meet our fans or fellow like-minded nerds at conventions.

Hope to see you at PAX East. :)

I covered NWN for IGN's Vault way back at GenCon in 2001 and got a Bioware coffee mug that broke during the move to my new apartment about three months ago.

What I'm saying here is that you guys do some high-quality swag.

Chris, tell me you're bringing Ed (our very own apotheos) with you. I need to drink with him again.

Apologies to Moe Fwacky in advance for being creepy on the forums.

BioWare swag.... I'm tracking you down... If I give you one of my toes in a ziploc bag, will you bury it near the studio in Edmonton? Would either of the Doctors like it preserved in formaldehyde?

I'll stop being creepy now. Would be great to see you and shower you with compliments for the studio and yourself as a community coordinator!

Thanks for the heads up, Evil Chris. Great to see a fellow Canuck representing the Great White North at PAX East!

Every 1/2 hour... you could have a line of people following around waiting for you to "tweet" your location. I'll have to be stealthy, like a ninja.
... wonder if your swag will come in a size small...

Yay Chris, you rock! It'll be good to see you again! And of course to snag some swag! =)

Also, Dragon Age was indeed as addictive and awesome as you promised it would be. I was quite pleased and addicted. =)=)

Is it possible you could bring some extra (shirts I guess) to purely sell? I would surely just buy a shirt or some statue off of you.

Mr Thornheart! How's it going, Sir. It'll be good to see you again as well. (Especially if you're on cookie brigade as it looks like I shall need energy to evade stalkers).

I'll check with Ed to see if he's coming along. I know he wants to, but sadly may get hung up doing work (I never touch the stuff myself). I'll bring him if I can.

Can't sell my swag at the Con as I'm not a vendor and I wouldn't want to honk off those who are or the organizers who definitley don't need me hawking my wares (my Biowares in this case.... sorry, that was just awful). This time, I'm there as a fan (a first for me as I usually have to work). I'm looking forward to taking in panels, playing games, testing demos, meeting folks and having fun.

If anyone has any suggestions (I'm too late for many of the pub crawls and dinner parties, but I'm open to ideas) of what I should to whiel I'm there, let me know. I enjoy meeting PAXers as we're all fellow geeks. :)

I think I might have some ideas for enjoyment. Also, tell Ed he doesn't have to do that work (you have that power, right?).

Woot! I'll bring some cookies your way... in fact, for PAX East we have something extra special planned. One of the ladies I work with has concocted approximately 6 dozen delicious chocolate cake balls covered in semi-hard chocolate. They're absolutely delicious: I'll save you some! ;)

I don't think you'd be too late for the pub crawl! Join team Squirtle! Or just swing along with us and cheer us on if you want! =) The Pre-PAX Dinner is *almost* full up, but I think you can still snag a spot there... and if you happen to come early enough, you could join us on the Magical Mystery Tour! =);)

If you're a fan of food, considering joining us for our Sunday morning dim sum breakfast. China Pearl is some of the best dim sum I've ever had (and I've been to places in NYC, San Fran and Honolulu). Details are in this thread: http://forums.penny-arcade.com/showthread.php?t=113919. (For reference, dim sum is sort of like Chinese brunch).

Warning, if you come, be prepared for my never ending gushing about Mass Effect 2 and the babies I'd totally have with it.

And thanks for putting up the impromptu worshipping session. It was quite cathartic.
