I wish I could have been in the pre-beta only so I didn't have to boot up ODST every time I wanted to play Reach.

My favorite thing is the evolution of my logo. I use "Vortex" and have since Halo 2.

bungie.net is blocked at work, but I need to check - when I popped Halo 2 back in for the farewell, I hope I remembered to change the logo, to keep my bungie profile nice and uniform...

The Reach logo is actually a grey oval behind it, but for some reason it's a block.

I just for some reason love the simple vortex design. I actually used it as an icon for selecting things on a menu on my college final DVD project.

Got the beta and it's pretty fun, I miss the old control scheme but I'm adjusting to the new one. I find it does leave you vulnerable for a split second though since you have to take your finger off the trigger to hit the bumper. Is there a way to submit input and possibly get the old control scheme added to the list or is it already there and I just missed it?

I love the spartan suit powers, so far Scout is my favourite although many people seem to favour Guard for some reason and I'm not sure why.

I like the graphics update, did they actually improve the graphics or just change the style? It's hard to tell.

The new guns are interesting, the needler rifle is interesting and the classic needler feels like a more feasable option now. I'm having trouble liking the replacement for the battle rifle, it feels less powerful than the other guns but that might just be because my aim sucks.

I haven't played very much Halo 3 multiplayer, as I bought it primarily for the campaign, so I didn't put alot of thought into the icon...and I bought Halo 2 long after H3 was released so I played almost none of it's multiplayer.

Growing up my favorite color was blue, but I'm finding myself using red for alot of things now since it's the color of my Ford Fusion. It's the primary color my armor. The 0 with the X behind it obviously is meant to mirror my gametag & ID a bit, obviously.

Edit: Man the ODST icon color scheme looks better. I'll have to switch Reach over to that.

So glad they kept Bumper Jumper. I love that control scheme.

Also, I'm not normally a huge fan of Halo's multiplayer, but this beta is just too fun. I'm enjoying Stalker a whole lot.

Also, played a game of Cov Slayer yesterday. Interesting. The dodge roll is fun.

Yeah, the wolf emblem's secondary toggle is a circle behind it, but it's not very moon-esque.

My emblem in 3 used to be this:



I swapped it out after seeing that the moon worked better with the sprocket. I couldn't do that one in Reach, now - the secondary colour for the vortex emblem is swapped to the other side.

Before that it was dome chevrons pointing down against a pentagon, which wasn't too creative. My Halo 2 emblem is a rough attempt to get something like the Halo 3 one working in 2 before it went down, but the sprocket doesn't exist in 2.

After experimenting a bit, though, I might go for something like this:

I use Valkyrie with the soft diamond background in Halo 3, ODST and Reach. I used the sharp diamond in Halo 2 because there was no soft diamond.

What can I say, if I find something I like, I stick with it.

I originally used Marathon in Halo 2 and early Halo 3. I later switched to the dreamcatcher background and a toggled spiral for the foreground. Now I use dreamcatcher with the eagle emblem in all the games where it's possible.

I have a feeling that some people will go Quiet/Polite etc for LOLIRONY.

For my emblem I used to be Runic/Sprocket in Halo 3, but switched to Shield/New Mombosa (lion) in ODST. My friend always goes with Cat with Cowboy/Pimp hat.
