Jesus being new sucks. I can't ever play assault because I get followed around by people going "AMMO. NEED AMMO. RUNNING LOW ON AMMO. NEED AMMO. AMMO." and all I can do is shake my head no because I don't have the damn unlock yet.

Wait til you get to Medic.

"Okay, so the Medic class uses heavy weapons to support his squad, and Medkits and defibs to heal and revive, respectively.

But they don't get the medkit or defib until they reach rank 4. They have to earn the right to do the job they're made to do."

Damn, rank 4?! I had been putting that off because I didn't want to deal with people bugging me, but I guess I should just get used to it.

Also Engineer and Recon seem to be my classes of choice right now. I already sniped down a moving UAV. smug.gif.

You sniped a moving UAV? Congratulations. Everyone does that.

Eh, I thought it was cool, considering it was full balls moving across my screen and I had to lead the hell out of it.

But I guess if my minor accomplishments pale in comparison to the awesome that is everyone else, then I'll refrain from being excited. Even though I've had the game less than a day and all.

Don't you worry about Pancake, he's spent too much time being Angry on the dome.

Got my first CG chopper kill last night (just leading, no tracer), and also sniped a pilot out of the chopper later in the same game for the first time. Both on the jungle rush map. Good times working on my recon and engi kits.

It got a little laggy when fully loaded though so i'm done for today. Maybe I need to move to the US. Yes, that's a good idea. Land of the free here I come...

Somehow I have the basic class unlocks of Medic and Engineer despite not having unlocked them. Well, now I've unlocked them, since they make getting points with the class ridiculously easy, but still.

For a while there I was using the repair tool to get enough points to unlock the repair tool

Playing an engineer would be more fun if three quarters of the time I'm repairing something, the driver didn't take off at 25 health to go charging straight into the fight.

Even better is when they wait while you repair up to 90%, then take off at full speed, leaving you out in the open with a repair tool in your hand and sniper crosshair on your head.

I don't see why they do this stuff.

Anywho, On the topic of the repair tool, the sound it makes when you're attacking an enemy tank is nasty.

I'll admit to being somewhat guilty of this. I usually only pay attention to my vehicle health if I hear that nagging alarm go off when I'm about to blow up. Then I just try to bail out.

That said, I also don't see that many people running in to harm's way to fix my tank, usually.

EDIT: Reading comprehension for the win. I don't usually drive BACKWARDS back into the fight, at least.

We need to establish a BC2 version of HUAC, except it will be the good guys this team.

"Are you now or have you ever spammed the noob tube?"

I ran the numbers on mine (10-15% all explosives in the game last I check! Not unreasonable.), and I feel confident my stats stand up to snuff. They are also publicly available, if anyone wants to verify that I am awesome.

You should run a BC2 sig so we can verify you aren't unclean.

My noob tubes run about 15% of my assault kills. Knife is likely another 10-15%, and AR / pistols are the rest.
